Yes, and before you mention it, they are long scale strings. I think it must be a mistake from the manufacturer, but it doesn't affect the sound at all

It is a Precision Bass (or Pbass). The Pbass usually has only one Split-Coil pick up in the centre while the jazz bass usually has two Single coil separated pickups, one close to the bridge and the other close to the neck
