Hi, I'm Brenda
My weekly blog will let you in on all my great finds and pearls of wisdom learned over 50 years in the beauty industry, from Elizabeth Arden Salon in Bond Street, to training girls all over Europe, then running the Elizabeth Arden training School in New York and looking after 13 salons, to finally ending up in Exeter, Devon with my own salon Visage for 25 years!
I've been busy! and it all started when I was 11, with very dry, sore skin, so I borrowed my mothers beautiful Elizabeth Arden glass bottles (with little pink bows!) I started using a cleanser, toner and moisturiser, and I haven't looked back since!

A quick Summer look!
A quick Summer look with the wonderful crayon eyeshadiow sticks from Langmanni. No 12 on the ourer corners and socket and blended upwards and out. No 11 (my favourite!) on the lid and a littke bit of the gold in in the inner corners fior that special touch! (No 13). The pencil is Lady M from Beauty pie , a great soft brown to tie it all together! Perfect!!

Pink, pink pink! That’s a colour I love! These are all soft and matt and so easy to wear! I’ve got a glow! I love a face oil! Do you use one? Deep feeding, detoxifying and a super glow, fabulous! My great favourite is the Nuxe Dry oil, but I thought I would try the Revolution Miracle Oil. This is a great foundation, first time I’ve tried it. Primark Illuminating Foundation £4 in no 6. Really good formula!very impressed with the end feel and look, so natural!

How to make life easy when you’ve got a big palette of colours, where to start? The palette is from Revolution called Smokey and has 10 eyeshadows! Is this going to be too much! This is a very pretty, glowy primer. No it’s actually not too much! Soft, smooth, smells nice and easy to apply, always a winner for me!
