I was on that twice yesterday and it was soo fun imagine passing out wimp
Our family owned a caravan on the park and you could hear this being tested every morning. It was usually tested an hour or so before opening so when you heard the Corkscrew you knew it was time to walk towards the park.
I've went on one of these but st the iron bru carnival
There was a variant which was with the travelling fairs in England during the 80s..it was called the supreme American skyliner.

i rode this it was my first roller coaster and the guy at the station put the big metal bar down to measure me and it hit my head, i had a headache all ride lol. i loved this coaster and it will always have a place in my heart. R.I.P IN CORKSCREWS
This was my first roller coaster too, the first time i went on it i rode it 6 times in a row !. like yourself it will always have a place in my heart. (apparently it is still active as it was dismantled and sold to a french theme park)

This is open at Flamingo Land, used to be in Alton Towers from 1988-2008! 28 years in the park without ANY technical issues or accidents!

They are two separate clones, this one operated at Whitely Bay for 7 years before opening at flamingo land in 1990. The Alton one got scrapped apart from the corkscrews that are now a monument in the parks plaza area.
That only correct statement there is that this is flamingo land.
No it didnt. 2 different identical models. The older one was at Alton Towers which operated between 1980 and 2008. The Younger one was at Whitley bay from 1983-1989, flamingo land 1990-2011 and currently operates at the french fairground luna park as apocalypse.
