I always thought that nirvana shatakam is about the blissful soul that we all are.. And only we need realise the supreme consious ness within us... Which is shiva himself... And that's what even Adwaitha says... God is within us only we have to realise through Sadhana.. Most of the Gurus I have come across resonated with the same idea.... But this guru disagrees with that and says nirvana shatakam is about Shiva and not partinent to us.... Somebody please throw some light on this..

Idk about the back story but hes right about mantra ucharan. Its not a chalisa or aarti, it has to be said a certain way in a certain raag. The high and low pitch marks on the sanskrit are there for a reason. Gurukul students use their hand and wave it up and down and side ways to learn and remember the pitch of the ucharan. Its critically important
