Tree fatalities in Georgia (FINISH THEM!)
Hey Y'all
I have noticed over the past several years that quite a bit of trees are being removed along the highway in Georgia. GDOT said it is a safety concern for when people leave the highway at high speeds to reduce driving fatalities.. sounds like a drinking problem or a human problem, not a tree problem.
Y'all Take Care!

Come with me to take a look at the Solar Panel Manufacturing Plant Near Dalton Ga. 148 acres of land was cleared less than 2 acres of solar panels installed over 14 acres of roof top not utilized for solar panels to offset emissions and energy demand. I don't have the answers, but this isn't it. #georgia #Green #environment #Solar #civilengineering #Infrastructure #Habitat #Forest #Bees #pollin...

I think people here are missing the point he's making. That wood would've come from a tree, which came from a seed, which grew in some part of the ground with right amount of nutrients and water. Iron can come from stars, and we could have a meteor of pure iron hit the earth & provide us with more iron than we have here on earth normally. You can find giant meteors of iron, diamond, platinum, etc. in space, but good luck finding a tree ANYWHERE ELSE in the universe other than Earth.
Wood regenerates quicker than metal on earth, or so I've been toldm
You are correct, and that was my point. Metal elements aren't made on earth, and wood isn't made anywhere else in the universe that we know of and definitely not in our solar system.
Wood is the most common commodity that is actually 100% renewable.
You are correct, because it is super special that it can be renewed here by natural processes. Metals are forged in stars. And even though we cut and replant trees, it is rarely done with the initial forest type (mix of species of trees and ages) that was there in the first place. This radiates out to impact other parts of the ecosystem.
Wood is mostly carbon which is made in stars. Instructions form it into wood, which is the same as humans using instructions to form iron. There is more carbon in the universe than iron making iron more rare.
You don't need instructions to form iron into iron, iron is an element and is available in every solar system in the universe. Wood on the other hand, is only available on Earth. Id say wood is much less common.
Please don't be a contrarian for the sake of arguing.. i want to share with people and learn from people. . I have studied science at the academic level for around 10 years, hold a B.S. Geology, a M.S. Environmental Science, and a completely separate M.S. Civil Engineering, UI am published in several textbooks and have presented primary research at the regional, national, and international level. I did that because I was fascinated by the natural world and how we interact with it. As a good scientist i kept a skeptical eye about what I was being told, and formed my own conclusions and ensured that information conveyed was repeatable. now in response to your comment.. yeah, but there's more than just carbon in trees... there's nitrogen, phosphorous, oxygen (with a negative 2 charge) , potassium., with out nitrogen being separated from its covalent bonds ( really strong ) we would not have DNA. so it isn't a 1:1 comparison. You are right that there is more carbon.. but i think you can wrap your head around that it is not that easy.. Although Oxygen is abundant in the universe, it is not necessarily available. As there is a considerable amount of oxygen in rocks like limestone, quartz in granite.. and i am confused about the instructions that you are referring to.. i am aware that RNA and DNA kind of work like a computer code... but it took a lot of events and situations for that to even happen in the first place...
That's a damn good point. Cant have wood without oxygen.
U fr got music coming out?
@tkalldayradio hundred percent. I wrote a lot of music and then realized that I didn't know how to properly record. Most of 2024 was learning how to do that, I'm sure there's room for improvement, but I'll never learn if I stay in the shadows.. so yes 3 song ep next Friday, pretty grooving and heavy rock and roll, and then in the following weeks another more "chill' rock EP to balance things out. I hope you enjoy, and thanks for watching the ride.. who knows where it's going!!!
“…Groundwork for a life long madness” 😂❤
Unplugged Dag Nasty maybe
Its a cool place
I agree!!
Bruh 😭
LOL😂
wait im dying
Very bush sounding!
Very coheed and cambria vibes! I dig it
ABSOLUTE FAVORITE BAND AND THIS REALLY IS A FANTASTIC ALBUM! the way they've transformed and evolved over the years is one of the most amazing journeys in music! Artist in the ambulance was what got me into them originally and to see where they went with this one and their latest is wild!
@lonetrader1 me too!! What a great band!!!
I''m a little older than most Thrice fans, actually got turned on to them by my nephew who was in his skate punk fase at the time. "In Exile" hooked me and I've been a huge fan since. Recently almost wore out the reimagined "Artist in An Ambulance reimagined" the new version of The Melting Point of Wax is Dope!
@@snarlz niiiiiiice!!!!!! Agree they are a very talented group of individuals!!
Didn't know they did a new release of that one! Gonna have to check that out
Bruh I was gonna go to that Atlanta show but had a presentation come up to work on 🥲. Love that album, love all their work
Noo!!! If it helps ease your pain i missed the album play of artist in the ambulance!!
You convinced me to listen to them on spotify. Thanks!
Rock on!
The marriage of coyote woman by far my favorite
Highly underrated band! Love these guys a lot.
Agree!!
No honorary mention of internet? I got lucky and bought a test pressing of this album. It’s sooo good
They don't put out bad music!! I love internet!!!
Just found these guys this year. Great music. See you next fall..
I was fortunate enough to see them several times, it’s been years ago, but I love them!! 🦇❤️🦇
My favorite band period. Even their lower production value stuff, that you can find all over on UA-cam in the form of full live performance recordings, is fucking incredible. I guess hearing them live is like nothing else.
Just bought this one and I’ve been listening to it non-stop
Incredible!
Probably listened to it 8-10 times. I think it's one of their best end to end.
Love these guys
L'Hotel Serine from their latest KEXP set is amazing.
@neilbrown1303 man, when Ben opens up with that guitar lick and the bass and everything right behind... ooooweeee is that a freaking groove!!
