First Off, Wonderful Episode!! At the 7:00 minute time frame It is very interesting to listen to Steve, who I have met and spoken with in the past years ago, and then recently speaking with Olivia at her training camp on June 1 in St. Louis & seeing the issues that she was running into on the snatch & how they analyze it and work on overcoming that particular issue. Just that part could be a great 1/2 hr to hour show on how the lift results change depending upon so many factors and body dynamics. The Public generally does not get to see the Adversity that both an athlete and a coach go through. We always see the results for a few brief seconds from the years and sometimes decades of work that is put into it. That is why Olympic Weightlifting is the pinnacle of the most difficult sports to perfect. It demands years of physical toil to condition the body, deep psychological altruism to keep your mind focused without becoming paralyzed from analysis paralysis. There are so many different levels and dynamics that come into play on each lift that even most people & athletes really never start to consider but are the merciless questions that a coach has to consistently review and consider. This topic could be a channel of its own with interviews with both coaches and athletes to help others gain insight, clarity and understanding of how the process goes over time. Thank you so much for putting this series together. I have enjoyed watching each episode and greatly appreciate the quality and the storytelling you all did. And with access you had to really go with the athletes and coaches, it was cool to see things from their view. I would continue to watch any more episodes or series you put out. Mad props to the athletes for doing what they did!

One thing to think about, Olivia is the only living American that has had the National Anthem played for them in the Olympics for Weightlifting. Think of how many millions of people not only in the country but I have come and gone since our last gold medalist, she is an outstanding representative of hard work and humility for Weightlifting! So much talent so many guts so much passion emotion work I don’t know how else to put it our female weightlifting team is showing off to the rest of the world. Kate Vibert laid the groundwork for Olivia and than Olivia killed it when she got the chance. Sport a celebration of youth and strength a celebration of life and sadly it comes to an end. An end of an Era and a beginning of a new one 😭🥰💪🏼🇺🇸

You've got to love Olivia Reeves. All these ladies are simply amazing. There's something about Reeves's attitude that makes her a fun lifter to watch.

This entire series has been great. So proud of these ladies for allowing us to follow along on this journey. Thank you so much for everyone involved. I wish we could see more content like this for weightlifting to get the sport more attention and to grow the sport even more.

I love it. One question to the filmmakers though: I notice a higher shutter speed than the 180⁰ rule throughout the film. Was that a stylistic choice or did you film in 60fps/120shutter and then put it in a 23.976 timeline? Thanks anyway for this beautiful piece.

greatly enjoyed this series on such incredible athletes. good to see their wisdom in understanding if to pull back to safeguard their health and wellbeing, they'll be stronger for it in the long run. so many competitions leading up to the Olympics where they had to keep pushing forward.

I love when the coach said thats not weightlifting (getting lightheaded). Thats not the sport. Hes exactly right. Anyone who trains at the level of these women will not be unprepared for a standard lift.

not sure what 'unfair advantage ' means re other countries, but at the end of the day, its you and the bar, and if you want to finish top three at olympics, then you need to lift accordingly...just you and the bar...because everyone is on an equal footing unless they are doped..
