A new hunter who comes from New World, and I struggle to control myself from spamming backstep when a monster is down... I just recently learned that Blade Waltz combo is actually the most DPS combo in this game, LoL. And, do you have any tips pulling the guard-rising slash combo? It's harder to pull than World, somehow.

The description of Drill Slash says it’s good for elemental damage, but I hardly ever see people using it. Is Lateral Slash really that much better? Same goes for Twin Blade Combo, is it just not that good at what it was designed for?

Wow, that is actually such a fun play style. Looks direct and up close to most monsters' weak points. Ive just reached endgame on sunbreak PS5 i went from maining the longsword to SnnS and i cant go back SnS has it all for me. Comfortability convinience even the back hop has generously good s and imo more fun to pull of than fore sight slash. Still main the Longsword tho but id say its 2nd to the SnS.

on a semi-unrelated note, i hate how spamming lateral slashes is more DPS than a perfect rush combo, doesn't really makes sense cause perfect rush takes much higher commitment while dealing less dmg

Suggestion: Do it in a different monster hunter game each week if you can haha

furious rajang is easier in rise than normal rajang... and that's stupid

rough dps calculation: furious rajang has an HP range of 39,200 HP to 44,400 HP in the MR 6★ Unreasonable Rage quest according to Kiranico. the actual fight starts at 0:19 and the completion time is 02:06 so the fight has lasted 107 seconds. idk his exact HP since it can vary but we're gonna go for the average so let's say the rajang's HP was 41,800 HP [44,400 + 39,200) / 2] 41,800 / 107 = 390 DPS insane
