What’s the price for this unit? The wife and I bought a 1 ton to tow with and have gotten bit by a not so honest dealership in Idaho. We want to cover ALL the bases this time.

I hate to burst your bubble, but R-15 "flex foil" provides about an R-1 radiant insulation barrier. They are tested and rated for their reflective insulation properties. It may provide a vapor barrier, but that's about it. Reflective barriers are terrible as radiant insulators, but that doesn't stop manufacturers from adding them into "R" values for marketing purposes. They would be much better off using even a half-inch layer of closed cell polystyrene foam, which is an excellent radiant insulator. Don't get me wrong, AF makes one of the best insulated trailers on the market. If you camp in cold or hot climates, unless you do your own conversion and use a closed cell expanding polystyrene spray foam in the walls and ceiling and a similar foam board insulation in the floors, you can't do much better than Artic Fox trailers.
