I post content about fiber and digital art or mundane aspects of my life. Postings will be sporadic.
How to Loom Knit Wrist Warmers Intermediate
Materials:
1 or 2 skeins of Light (3) or Medium (4) Weight Yarn. (I used a heavy weight wool yarn but split the threads so this is my best approximation.)
Loom (I used a loom with 32 pegs but any loom with 16 pegs and about 1 inch distance between the pegs should work.)
Scissors
Yarn Needle
I've posted the written instructions on my page for people who want to skip the video. I'm going to work on a more visually appealing instructions pdf later that I'll probably post on my Pinterest. You can find me there with the same username and profile image.
If anything is unclear, please let me know in the comments and I'll do my best to explain. #loomknitter #loomknitting #loomknittingproject #loomknit #loom

How to Turn a Star into any n-Gon in Affinity Designer 2
Переглядів 26Місяць тому
I stumbled across this when I was making the rounded edges video. I had an assignment in geometry class once where I had to use 20 different polygons to make an image. I might recreate that digitally now that I know about this feature in AD2. It's worth mentioning that the tricks used in this video are applicable to the double star tool as well but the sides aren't a 1:1 ratio and instead are a...

A beautiful blanket! I love the bold bright colors! 😊
Thank you!
It’s probably because it’s the wind not water that’s why.If u think about it and look closely.(Edit) I’m also a Aquarius and I thought it was a water sign too but I was wrong.
@@Brooklyn-tv1ms I typically associate an elongated spiral for wind and squiggles for water which I’m sure I picked up from Egyptian hieroglyphs. To be fair, Aquarius is the water bearer but I would’ve assumed the sign for it would’ve been some type of water holding vessel in the same way that the Libra’s sign is a simplified balanced scale instead of two adjacent squiggles 🤷🏾♂️

Thanks for the Recipe❤
I like 😂
It’s the water bearer ♒️ 😌
@@inkwellemporium but why is the water bearer not a water sign 😩😩😩
I really like them 🫶
Thanks ❤
So that’s what they meant by seed oils? 😅
Can you slow down the sewing, please. I know how to make the cord but can't see how to sew it all together properly. Thanks!
I've uploaded a new video with the slowed down process that you can watch now. I would suggest watching with the captions on so you can get more context as well.
That’s how I normally do it ngl
Glad to know I’m not the only one 😂
Thats awesome!
You took the time to create this video and I was interested. Sorry. The video is so small quick I couldn’t follow it. Thanks for trying.
Yeah, while watching this back I can see the many issues with it. Thanks for the feedback.
Theres a technique used for blankets where you do a double crochet and chain stitch between to make like windows, and it gives you a picture on a grid. You could also do a contrasting color with intarsia, depending on the look youre going for
@@SavageMinnow I think I’ll probably go the intarsia route. My crochet abilities aren’t that good in comparison to loom knitting 😂😂😂
@@_emptyethat's probably what I would do. Like most crafting things, it just takes a lot of trial and error. I love the idea of what you're going for. However you do it, it's gonna be awesome
@@SavageMinnow Thank you. I’ll do my best 😊
Your voice sounds exactly like my sister’s! Freaked me out! 😂
Racoon rabbit squirrel or any omnivore
@@Bobert2142 I didn’t even think about squirrels or rabbits. Albeit given my location I think the squirrels are more likely.
Time to get an electric fence and a camera. Grab the popcorn and sit back.
I wish, but I'm more likely to hurt myself with the fence and can't afford an outdoor camera. 😂😂
Animals exist and they do be eating plants
Awful language. 😊
@@janehartman6871 I knew that already, consider. Have the day you deserve.
Ur life is turbulence
With the current state of the world it’s kind of hard for it not to be. Have the day you deserve.
Tf is Juneteenth
It’s when the last group of enslaved black people in the US (in Texas specifically) were told that slavery was abolished if no crime was committed. I’m sure there’s a more in-depth video on UA-cam if you’re actually looking to learn and this comment wasn’t in bad faith. Have the day you deserve.
You're correct that is the bud!
Some people can't even process something called "Consequences" He supported an overthrow of the Iranian government in 2022. Iran isn't America 😂😂
Cool
Like the concept of the video, the only thing I hate about this is the AI voice, try your voice for a few videos, if not then switch to one that's a lot less annoying one, other than that, love the video, keep going with this man

I’m guessing your bike is a trek verve
It is. This bike is much better than the bike I got from Walmart and it's much easier on my back and knees. I wish it were a walk-through though. I'm a little short so any time I stop I always end up kind of sitting on the bar in-between.
How are you breaking this down i mean i see it but we need more explanation😂
I’m using the lines of the phrase 'Happy Black History Month' to make a collection of stick figures and a potted flower. I break the letters down to their most basic lines/curves which are only differentiated by their direction albeit I usually rotate the U's to fit the forms as I see fit. When there’s too many excess lines, I reduce them with a 2 to 1 formula. So 4 lines become 2 but 3 lines would also become 2 lines because it’s odd. After I do that then I build the stick figure/head/flower/flag or whatever I see the lines being able to create really.
I DIDN'T GET A WORD OF THAT
I’m using the lines of the word February to make a stick figure. I break the letters down to their most basic lines which are only differentiated by their direction and their curve. (The U’s I’m referring to are the curves that I isolated.) When there’s too many excess lines I reduce them with a 2 to 1 formula. So 4 lines become 2 but 3 lines would only become 2 because it’s odd. After I do that, I build the stick figure/head/flower/flag or whatever I see the lines being able to create really.

Free Free Palestine🇵🇸 boo boo 👎 isreal🇮🇱
What an awesome concept towards a great cause.
This concept is not new by far. I just created this comic to showcase what Palestinian artist's (and others I'm sure) had already made. I'm not terribly sure about the specifics, but I think the gist of the story is that Isn'treal made it so the Palestinian flag was illegal and the watermelon was used instead to show pride about being Palestinian without being subjected to the Isn'treal regime.
