I'd like to welcome you to Jus' Piddlin DIY, a channel that you can come to for simple, inexpensive, and practical DIY ideas for the simple man. I'm not a professional woodworker, and do not claim to be, but I do have a love for working with my hands and enjoy the feeling of accomplishment when I finish a project. Hey, JP. I made ten of the mug holders and gave them out to family members as Christmas gifts last year. I'd love to make this cross/baseball holder as a gift for my son who played baseball in college and currently coaches high school. Can you give me the dimensions? I heard and wrote down 2 and 7/8's inches. That's the interior measurement, right? How about sharing the other dimensions?

So sorry Sandy somehow I got busy with life and missed your debut DIY video by more than a week. I've never heard of the kind of pine before. It appears to be kind of sticky by the way it stuck to the chop saw. I love the way you clamped everything with tape. Pretty clever. The old saying of never having too many clamps in your shop is you can never have too many rolls of tape. Good first video. Thanks.
