Apparently waiting for spare parts from the USA. 1101 & 1104 have appeared on Watco Nickel West freights between Kwinana and Hampton, since they arrived here. As also on the short runs to NQRT, for Watco container freights, as you mentioned. It's like, the Watco team prefer to have the 1101 & 1104 on their main line workings! Now that is some past railway history, The good old narrow gauge era.

Here in SA, I miss the old Broad Gauge too. At least now we have the chance to put the old inefficiencies of the 3 Gauge Network behind us and build a freight rail system that works, and will reduce road movements. Only 150 years behind, but better late than never. :D

@@westernaustraliatrainscene5689 The W class look and sound great working up the steep gradients. It will be interesting to see Pm 706 when it is moved out of PInjarra by road. I never got to see this locomotive on the mainline unfortunately, its one of my favourite Western Australian steam engines.
