Elden Ring - Morgott, the Omen King (Mage Paladin)
All hail the rightful king. I'm actually having a harder time with these mid game bosses. Makes me appreciate them more. I forgot how hard they were in my last playthroughs when I was more familiar with their movesets/I had a build they're weak to.

Man, this Prince of Death staff is pretty cool. My character’s really coming together thematically. Again, surprised how fun INT/FTH turned out to be, I was expecting a pure caster type of character.

Played on the TV. INT/FTH is so fun. I'm having a blast. On the other hand, this boss is a complete PAIN IN THE ASS. Took me forever. Luckily in this run I was able to kill the first Gargoyle relatively quickly so I didn't have to fight a 2 vs 1, I was able to focus them down one at a time. Level 63. Not bad.

Didn’t use Faith at all in this fight so I looked more like an Astrologer lol Unlike before, I saw the light at the end of the tunnel immediately. I got quite accustomed to its attacks already. Still a grueling test of stamina though (took me a few tries and recalibration of flask charges).

INT/FTH is so fun. I beat the Liurnia version too with the Ancient Death Rancor spell.

I found an exploit that sorta trivializes the O’Neil fight. If you go around the intended entrance and enter from the side, his fight won’t trigger and you’ll be undetected, meaning you’re free to setup and get free hits. Though this does mean if you do enough damage he’ll go straight to phase 2 and now you have you deal with two waves of summons at once. Still got him though. ngl I kinda chees...

Underated fight imo one of my favs for some reason
Defo. I only came across it on my 3rd playthrough funnily enough.
Some audio issues. I fixed the desync but it seems like Steam only recorded (or rendered) one side of the audio. I'll find a fix soon!

Sad to see the game denied your crit twice. Nice vid though. Your vagabond reminds me of how my own was, with the flame sling, bronze shield and greathelm. Fun to see how many players think alike.
Yeah builds are more or less similar early game where you just scrape by what you can get. It only ever diverges significantly mid to late game.

Yeah it was weird for me too but hey gotta take advantage! I think it happens more often in multiplayer sessions.
