I appreciate your response, but, I made the bassline at the breardowns sound dissonant on purpose to try something new and I personally think that it worked out pretty well! I agree that it might not sound the cleanest but, it doesn't need to. Imo it gives a messy and energetic vibe to the song which is the main idea. The fact that those are offkey makes it more interesting in the breakdown as the melody literally breaks down. Either way, thanks for the response, I will keep that in mind!

@@zernexa offkey basically never works bruh, other then as fills in very specific scenarios or if the whole song lacks melody like a lot of dubstep tracks, objectively it sounds annoying, if u think it sounds good u should stop thinking that, offkey is not really something to experiment with. also its out of phase and offkey at the same time cuz i assume you just played two notes from your bass at the same time which isn’t a thing you can do, if it was just offkey it mightve been doable

@@masayomusic1371 Maybe you're right, idk, i don't have any music knowledge but if it sounds good imma use it. Also, it's not offkey, I checked and it's just the high melody just on the root note keeping the rhythm while the bass plays the melody, it's just he opposite of what people do most of the time

@zernexa so u r right it’s not actually offkey my bad, but because it’s out of phase tho it sounds like it’s off key, u can’t play two bass notes at the same time, cuz then u r playing two subs at the same time and that’s a no no, you r basically playing bass chords which isn’t a thing u can do it sounds like a misclick
