Today I want to share with you the top nine things I absolutely love about living on the stunning island of Maui.
1. Epic Weather: With temperatures around 82 degrees year-round and hardly any rain, the weather is simply unbeatable.
2. Breathtaking Beauty: From gorgeous sunsets to crystal-clear waters, the scenery here never fails to amaze me. Just this morning, I witnessed a moonset over the ocean-simply magical!
3. Outdoor Lifestyle: Whether you’re into swimming, snorkeling, golfing, or just strolling the beach, Maui offers endless outdoor activities. Plus, you can dine at fine restaurants in your slippers and Aloha shirt!
4. Whale Season: Seeing whales breach the water is an experience like no other. I’ve lived here for 25 years, and I still get chills every time!
5. Tropical Fruit: The variety of fresh fruit, from mangoes to avocados, is incredible. I love walking down the street and finding local fruit stands!
6. The Goldilocks Island: Maui is the perfect size-not too big, not too small. We have culture, great restaurants, and adventure all within a short distance.
7. 13 Microclimates: The diversity in climates here is fascinating. One moment you could be in a dry area, and the next you could be looking at lush rainforests.
8. Minimal Traffic: Traffic jams here are rare. I’ve experienced my fair share of gridlock elsewhere, but in Maui, it’s smooth sailing!
9. Amazing People: The positivity and optimism of the locals make Maui feel like home. I moved here for the weather, but I stayed for the incredible community!
