This video highlights a couple of the activities from the Kettering Middle School's Positive Behavior Intervention Support (PBIS) program. While we tend to give students who act out attention trying to correct their behavior, the students who follow the rules don't receive the recognition they deserve. PBIS does just that. It rewards the students who do well and follow the rules with the intention that students who use negative behavior to get attention will use positive behavior to be rewarded.
