      Thanks, brother. 🙏🏼 For the tasks list, I had an old Apple note with all the steps from 2021 when I was launching my first brand. I converted it into a task list inside a project and now whenever I’m launching a new product/brand, I can duplicate the project and make all the tasks undone to start from scratch. Oh Marwan. I have to say I absolutely love Genevieves teachings but this one? I still can't quite get there. For me its leaving my job and working on my business full time. Disclaimer - I work in a fairly toxic environment but I am really close to getting my business to where it needs to be. The worst case scenario would be to work there for the rest of my life! i have actually been there for 21 years and been trying to leave for so long now that there is a real possibility I could be voicing this another 10 years down the track. So for me the worst case scenario makes me feel so sick I just can't seem to get to a point to be ok with it. I wish I could!

    • @MarwanWFH
      @MarwanWFH Місяць тому

      Hey Virginia, glad to hear from you. Thank you so much for sharing this with us. Here’s a quick advice from a loving brother (who isn’t necessarily qualified to give advice lol.) If you can’t predict the future then you don’t know for sure that leaving your job is better for you. For example, I know a few people who their health started slowly deteriorating after early retirement. Actually the pain of staying in a toxic job itself is most probably making you stronger, more resilient, and strangely, happier in general. As none of us truly and surely know what’s better for us in the long run, then we should at least try to be hopeful that even the worst case scenario (staying in the same job for 10 more years) maybe somehow better for you. Maybe for reasons that you know or maybe for reasons you have no idea about. But in the end, we can’t say for sure that the worse case scenario is bad for you, right? And if we’re not 100% certain that leaving the job is better for you, then why should we get too attached to it? If we don’t know for sure, then why don’t we just relax, keep working on our goals, and let it all play out as it should?

    • @MarwanWFH
      @MarwanWFH Місяць тому

      It does take a lot of practice. But one thing that might help is the fact that no one can predict the future. And if no one can predict the future, then you have no idea if that the best case scenario (what you want) is actually good for you or not. If you don’t know what’s better for you, then why not relax and let it all play out? Why get attached to something that may not be in your best interest? Lots of love, brother. ❤️

    What a load of bullshit. I feel sorry for you for taking garbage like "Becoming Magic" seriously. Genevieve Davis makes money by selling books about making money and nothing else. She's not even original with her ideas: she just rephrases what that con-man Napoleon Hill wrote ages ago.

      @@MarwanWFH I didn't write that comment to "feel better" as you condescendingly assumed. I wrote it to help others see you for who you really are: a "self help guru" that is more interested in selling their stuff than in helping people or in doing their research.

How much these emotions impact someone's actions depends on their mindset, resilience, and willingness to step outside their comfort zone.
