Was working on a shimmer patch a few months that I truthfully forgot about due to me thinking that it was a bit much lol. Or just sounded to different for it to make sense in a worship context. After talking with a good friend of mine/drummer he was bringing up some stuff he’s heard from UpperRoom. How they take a lot of chances in unique sounds and really relying on Holy Spirit to not only guide the service flow but also types of sounds. So after that conversation I felt the need to step into a moment that needed that extra washy shimmer vibe and we got this crazy moment of Holy Spirit coming in the room!

Praise God bro! I primarily have notes for the band or even a list of potential flow songs. If we feel Holy Spirit lead us to a song we didn’t prepare for I also pull up the number charts from my notes and guide the band.
