A Democrat president who brilliantly performs his responsibilities without telling Americans what cars to drive, forcing perversion on school kids, and opening our border to terrorists.

That's my President. A flawed but brilliant man. I loved him then and I still do. Watching one of his speeches, and hearing that voice, still brings me to tears for what he was and what we lost. I was five years old when he was elected, and when I saw him on TV it was as if he was looking right at me and speaking directly to me. There was a connection that I had never experienced with an adult before. So smart, so sharp, so funny. I miss you, Mr. President.

The Greatest President To ever been Elected. What a great man he was and always will be. Only if he had lived then 58,000 men would have not died in Vietnam. He would have withdrawn all the troops by 64 . He stood for what was right and he was murdered for it . After 60 yrs we have to right to know the truth who killed our President. I believe That JFK Was killed by The Cia with LBJ help .

As a fellow Irishman I am very proud of the fact that one of our own made it to the highest office to be held in the United States. That said, I am assuming that organizations such as BLACK LIVES MATTER weren’t looting, robbing and burning down city blocks at the time this broadcast went out. 🙄

Yeah JFK wanted to take this out of the streets and into the courts and consciences of white America. Ironically, a few hours after this speech (which in part was meant to give Negroes hope) Medgar Evers was gunned down by a racist sniper. In 2 separate trials there was no conviction, even though the evidence was overwhelming. There was no rioting in Jackson.

It’s bad enough we lost this great man and his vision for the world which did not include American exceptionalism and a Pax Americana but was for true equality and liberty at home and abroad. He believed in giving everyday people more of an opportunity for prosperity and more input into public policy. He wanted to reduce the unfair advantages enjoyed by those already blessed with sufficient wealth and power. He wanted the US out of Viet Nam by 1965 “because after all, it was their war”. He wanted American intelligence agencies out of the business of running foreign policy. Instead we got Nixon and Reagan and the Bush’s and forever wars and hegemony and neoliberalism and military spending run amok as Kennedy’s predecessor warned. Such a goddam shame.

President John F. Kennedy (in his own words). As an adult looking back over the years, I can’t help but come away with an eerie sense of incongruity between the man I hear speaking (President Kennedy) versus the way he is often portrayed in the Mainstream Media. In his speeches, Kennedy comes across as a man of great courage, conviction, and intellect. A person who doesn’t seem to have a problem with truth telling. Yet, in the Mainstream Media, they tend to characterize him as a man who has problems with indiscretion. I recently re-watched the Zapruder film, and I noticed a different type of incongruity. Look at the film again for yourself. Notice how the film doesn’t actually show the first shot. You know, the shot in the neck. That’s because there was a rather large sign obstructing Zapruder’s field of vision. As the film continues and Kennedy’s limo passes the sign, then you notice right away that the President has already raised his hands to his neck. Therefore, the first shot had to have been fired during the few seconds when the car was passing the sign. Then, a few seconds later, there’s the second shot that appears to come at an angle instead of head on like the first one. These shots were separated by a matter of seconds. Surely, someone would have noticed a shooter changing positions in order to take the second shot. What point am I trying to make you ask? Here it is: Looking back, I cannot accept the “history” surrounding President Kennedy. Specifically, what’s the real story behind the man, John F. Kennedy, and who was responsible for his murder and subsequent coverup? For far too long, these questions and more have been pushed aside by people in government. Yes, by people who were supposed to be working and representing “all the people.” Americans must start taking responsibility, and accountability, for the individuals we “entrust” with enormous power. If we don’t demand it now, when will we? I’ll give my answer to that question. If we don’t demand it now, we’ll be asking/begging for it when it’s too late.
