Be Alright | Zapp -- WITH HORNS!
Trumpet - Robby Yarber (myself)
Tenor Sax - Woody Witt
Trombone - Zach Steele
Audio/Video - Robby Yarber
Arrangement - Thomas Wenglinski
Original Audio Track - Zapp
Zapp (also known as the Zapp Band, Zapp & Roger) is an American funk band that emerged from Dayton, Ohio, United States, in 1977. Particularly influential in the electro subgenre of funk, Zapp were known for their trademark use of the talk-box effect. The original line-up consisted of four Troutman brothers-frontman Roger, Larry, Lester and Terry-first cousin, Sherman Fleetwood-and non-Troutman family members Bobby Glover, Gregory Jackson, Jerome Derrickson, Eddie Barber, Jannetta Boyce and Shirley Murdock. Zapp also worked closely with George Clinton and Bootsy Collins of Parliament-Funkadelic during its early stages, their support being a factor in the group gaining a record deal with Warner Bros. Records in 1979.

New Group Premier We absolutely fell in love with the vocal group 'Voctave', and thought how amazing their arrangement would work for Brass! So, the amazing Joel Brown (www.jbarrangements.com), did fast work and delivered this arrangement for us. Every member of this group took time out of their INSANE December schedules to get together and meet for the first time, sight-read through the piece,...

Love❤
Very well done!!
That's F not G
💀
Look at the ears on this guy!
Boom.......AweSome.
Y’all sound great!
sounds great!!
Incredible tone!
Nice!!!!
I wish I could do that! Any suggestions?
*Yawns in pianist*
As a Perfect pitch user myself, that’s not a G! (It’s an F)
Trumpets are in the key of Bb, in which the concert F is a written as a G. (As a Concert Pitch user myself, it gets confusing)
@@bobamappingandbfdi As a bass player, I’m so confused 😂
just up a whole step lol, sax is worse cause it’s in Eb so you hear a minor third away from what you read on the page
where's the one an octave below
🍿
Beautiful!
Gotta be one of the best double g’s i’ve heard in a minute! You made it sound like light work lol
Those were FAs...
The trumpet is in Bb
Can you do a C
It supported me how he doesn’t have many subs (neither do I though) but he’s better than me at trumpet!
Amazing
Thanks!
Когда я в армии был сигналистом, Я в шесть утра так будил целый полк. Меня очень уважали, потому что иногда я рисковал и иногда делал это в 6.05😂
teach me the ways
LOL
Great!
Thanks!
wow good job
❤️
play weezer
Have one you recommend?
@@rlyarberthe buddy holly lick
sounds like a tea pot 😂
Basically!! 🥲
Last years band shirt 🔥🔥
You know it!!
La dernière note n'est pas une ronde et il n'y a pas de point d' orgue lol
i got up to e above staff, catching up to youuu😂
You can do it!!!
I'm right there with the e too!
@@user-un6dr1zc1cI’m sitting at a somewhat consistent D right now my range is just improving so slowly
@@anonymousyoutubeuser7013 I feel that lol
I dont think thats his max bro😭
Intimidating, to say the least
Ha no way!
Bro could play a TouHou song… 💀
Trumpet tone is incredible my guy
Thanks!
Do you consider that note part of your regular range? This is do impressive. I can hit a hugh c on a excellent dayz but barely. 😭
I play this range basically every day. I would consider this to be my full range. I can play higher, but it’s not required of me to play above this very often.
@rlyarber Wow, I don't know how you can do it so well. Good job! 😭
Light work for a string player
You guys have it made! Yall and piano players! ha!
@@rlyarbertrombones also have it made with how easy the high notes are to hit once you get the hang of it
@@GrilledCheese_ObamaSandwich Beg to differ. Once you get “good at it”, high notes are easy on any instrument. As a trombonist it takes years of practice as with other instruments to develop a solid extreme high range.
@@iffy11 idk what you're on brother the trombone is literally designed to play high? Like that coupled with the fact that the slide makes it so easy to slide up and build your high register it took me like a summer to go from my highest note being F two and a half ledger lines above the staff to Bb5 (the absolute highest real partial you can play in first position)
@@GrilledCheese_ObamaSandwich Yes although it still takes consistent practice to build up the range, I think I misunderstood your original reply, I thought you meant or were implying that high notes were naturally easier on a trombone. Sorry for the confusion.
I can do the first 3, your impressive
im pretty sure thats a F
Concert F, G when tuned to Bb (like most trumpets are)
I bet i could go higher
Do it! Tag me in your video!
@@rlyarber i don't actually play trumpet
@@lilbuddy1817thats crazy
@@lilbuddy1817then why tf did u say that
wish you the best! cheers from TX
Thanks! Cheers!🍻
This is so awesome 🔥🎶🙌💯

Awesome video. I fish there sometime as we have a lake house right off hwy 356 on the white rock creek side. And wonder song about our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
awesome!
Thanks!
I play trumpet, what’s the instrument your playing? Cornet?
That’s a flugelhorn
Cornets look like smaller trumpets fyi
Those are some high notes! I can only get a good sound up to a high a or f sadly.
Keep working on it! “Todays Squeaks are tomorrows notes!”
@@rlyarber I will keep trying thank you!
@@rlyarber I went to school today and I tried harder like you told be and now I can play notes higher than a high c!
@@shravan7312how high can bro hit now
