didnt talk about how it went in after the buzzer, even the miaa admitted it went in after absolute robbery
I played at Malden Catholic and this was by far the best of the best
Rehab Jim Montgomery sucked. That’s why the Bruins fired him.
What a great story. ❤
BlackBear Nation
Can you just be careful and don't romanticize Alaska too much - Alaska is for predators and we are all prey.... It's propaganda. Don't believe what you hear.
I have family living in the Kenai Penisula, absolutely beautiful place.
Should of would of could of
Well it's bizarre that you don't understand Bruins make playoffs 76 out of 99 times, so the educated Bruins fans, original sixers, by default the assumption is Bruins make the playoffs. It's not uncommon for a top team to be eliminated first-round playoffs, it's all throughout NHL history. After this "choke," you could have gone into Bruins history and mentioned 1971 playoffs ☹️ with new coach Tom Johnson and their response in 1972. 🏆 Perhaps point out that Brad Marchand led the team to win three out of four games against the Panthers and then when Bergeron return we proceeded to lose all three games! Bergeron's retired, Brad is not. This is the world wide Web, take it in context. All last summer they trashed the Bruins, all this summer they're doing the same. look around the internet... And put your little grain of sand in there with the rest. Imagine the response you would have gotten if you had a positive or educated spin to your video - Bruins make the playoffs 76 out of 99 times, we often do best as the Cinderella team, we often go further in the playoffs when we win less than 50 games - how do you think they'll do this year? Our Boston Bruin's son is coming back into the fold, look at the knee-jerk reaction in trashing Milan Lucic. 😕 Unfortunately, Boston is so full of fair weather fans, many of us go on other teams' podcast just to talk hockey. Bruins Nation rules- we didn't buy what Massachusetts fans & wannabe jock sports pundits were selling last summer. I think people might have had it with the trashing top athletes. Unless you put a balanced positive spin on the Bruins to ask this question-by default everyone else is trashing them. And that's how your video landed So put it in perspective
What are you talking about? What makes you think that I don’t understand that the Bruins make the playoffs more than they don’t? And who cares? It’s irrelevant. I was asking a simple questions. “Do you think the Bruins will make the playoffs in 2024?” That’s it. Just a simple question. So do you?
C'mon! ... You people are just looking for drama. Why can't you use these videos to educate fans on how much hope we actually have. You're just click bait fantasy hockey wannabes the Bruins bring it every season Does anybody on here know that Bruins have made playoffs 76 out of 99 seasons? Did you know that in 1970, Harry sinden led the Bruins to win only 40 outta 72 regular-season games, anybody remember that Derek Sanderson pass, to the Bobby Orr flying OT goal? The next season, Harry got bumped up to GM, new coach Tom Johnson came in and set the franchise record for most winning season, the franchise-record we broke this past year in addition to setting the NHL record Bruins were eliminated in the first round by one of the most miserable Montreal Canadian teams to squeak into the playoffs. We've seen this before, learn your history because... The next season, big bad Bruins came out humiliated, big ole chip on their shoulders, powered through to get themselves a 1972 cup! 🏆 If anybody had been paying attention to Brad Marchand the last 2 months of regular season, he already knew what was happening, knows the history. It's happened to many teams, I think the Hawks did it a couple of times He knows when Bruins win over 50 games, they don't do that well in the playoffs. Bruins only won 46 games even though they finished at the top of the standings in 2011. Now this season, we've got prospects on ice so we can give them NHL ice time to prepare for winter trade deadlines, Which Bruce Cassidy refused to do contributing to our bare trade cupboards. Jeremy swayman has been coddled, his statistics were at the careful discretion of goalie Bob who handpicked his games and gave Linus the rest of the load Jeremy doesn't take on elite teams in their houses, not many Canadian teams... Look at his schedule. So he needs to step up and earn that $3.75 mil, which means he's going to be going through a learning curve. That translates to losing games, sliding down in the standings. And for this type of team, we definitely want to keep Linus ullmark, because his most renowned talent, even playing injured with the Sabres, is stealing games. But let's fast forward to current statistics. Patrice Bergeron and David krejci were out injured Our lil rat, Captained this team to win three out of four gritty games. Krejci came back game 4, and he was not up to 100% for that game, yet we had four 3rd period goals When Patrice Bergeron returned from injury, we proceeded to lose three games in a row! 😮 That's exactly why he knew to hang them up. He knows. we were playing a "gentleman's game" during playoffs? Matthew Tkachuck had a field day. Nobody on the team responded when Linus was getting clobbered? and he had to take care of himself- But he did the Bruins a great big favor for this upcoming season- Set the tone. he has set up this team for success with that blocker going across Tkachuck's head. The only Bruin on ice with any spine that game. And that ain't happening again Because Looooooch! is going to show Freddy how to do a reversal, the next time he finds himself with his back to the ice, in a Matthew Tka-chokehold. 😃 And I'm not blaming Tckachuck, it was playoff hockey, obviously he was hungier and knew damn well Bergeron was back, the gentleman's game was back... And look at the results! Our lil ratt, Chuck, pasta had us on a winning trajectory when he was captain of the team. That's your core and they're not playing broomball anymore And let's talk about bertuzzi-who walked onto a team, on pace for an historic record, coming from Detroit Red wings for God's sake? He was here for 10 weeks, playing on a top line with one of the top NHL goal scorers-there was only one way for his stats to go - up! Any one of us would have a great plus-minus rating just picking their noses, standing on ice with pastrnak! The fans think they know bertuzzi? After 10 weeks coming from the Red wings playing next to Pasta? The Bruins made bertuzzi better...! Bruins fans and wannabe jocks Sports pundits didn't even look into his history-he just broke both hands, two separate seasons in a row? Hands don't fix. He's got a serious injury history, rarely plays anything near a full season Any team isn't willing to sign him long-term for the money he wants - once your hands get broken-those snappy passes disappear. Can't fix broken hands like a hip shoulder or knee. It'll be arthritis and whatnot Sweeney has done very well bringing in top roster players for pennies on the dollar. Nobody knew about Hampus, except for one Boston sports reporter who saw him hanging out with Bruins staff at Red Sox games a year-and-a-half before he signed with the Bruins Don already had him here over a year before his Ducks contract was up and nobody knew about that! But fans won't listen to players- Lindholme did a fifteen-minute interview explaining it was a no-brainer, he knew he was coming to Boston and it was a loyalty contract David pastrnak gave a chechi a radio interview last summer-when the fans all thought he was doing some fun 2011 cup reunion? He made it clear he wasn't squandering the prime of his career on something like that-he had faith in the team and look at the results. Y'all don't listen to krejci? But we're going to listen to clickbait wannabee Sports reporters over athletes? We're going to sign a player without looking into his history whose only been on the Bruins for 10 weeks playing next to David pastrnak coming from the Red wings?? I'm glad Don Sweeney doesn't listen to fans! Bruins always do better from the Cinderella position. Look at how many third-period comebacks? Are they going to get the Stanley Cup? Nobody can predict that-and there's 32 teams now... No more original six. Yet starting out with the assumption they're not going to make the playoffs is called a "fair-weather fan", and an ignorant one at that who doesn't know the History. Either way- we're in for one hell of a ride! I'm not worried you got your click.
Ok cool. So do you think the Bruins will make the playoffs in 2024?
So are you a Rangers fan or something?
@@ShadowTwister28 Rangers? No disrespect but Imma hockey fan since original 6 Bobby Orr. 🐻 Let's be true to the game. Before Bettman turns it into broom ball. 🙄 But it's only hockey, nobody really cares ✌️
People didn't have high expectations last season with all the injuries & surgeries. Look how that turned out. Boys will make the playoffs.
Yes. Insure hope so
I say they will

Montgomery said from the beginning...they're a talented bunch of guys. They know what they're doing. And he let them. That's what all the guys whined to management. That's what they sold the office...with a more supportive and looser style coach we'll do much better. They never bought into what Coach Cassidy was offering. The Golden Knights team did. I am very happy for Cassidy and the Knights. He went where he was respected and heeded. Up until the end of November you could see the vestiges of the discipline Cassidy tried to instill. That with their egos blown with their own self importance and Montgomery's enthusiasm. They were unbelievable on the ice. Fast and connected but unfortunately the loosey goosey attitude took over. To be honest most games after the first of the year I couldn't figure out how they kept winning except for goaltending...40 50 shots on the Bruins. Those 2 goaltenders were awesome. When Montgomery let them show their professionalism- they showed they had little. They were passing to no one, missing plays but they kept winning. I don't blame Montgomery at all. He trusted them to be professional league players. He listened to the players and the 2 head honchos. That's why he was hired. And BTW the players who were the most vocal against Cassidy are the exact players who didn't show up in the playoffs. Again.
No, the Knights are a 15x more gritty team than Boston. Thats why it worked.
No coach could of magically healed the key injured players... it just wasn't their year.
Bruins players cried about Cassidy being too tough. Tough leadership is required for victory. Too many player stat turn-arounds with Vegas players for anyone to call this a fluke. Bruce is a beast and made Vegas players better. VGK earned this.
Cassidy ran a tight ship and Monty doesn't which style is better, the results speak for themselves
I’m looking at this with a “what have you done for me lately”. Team, players, coach, office. Do you feel the Bruins are out of touch with playoff hockey?
Dude went and won the cup.
Jim Montgomery was the right pick. If Cassidy was still there would not have been same team/ players and would not have been same results. Can we stop asking this now.
I don’t disagree…but are you satisfied with the results?
@@hockeynightinnewengland4320Perfectly said. The bottom line is Boston players got soft and wanted a soft coach - so they ended up with a poor result. Meanwhile, Butch is drinking out of the cup in the Vegas strip. It’s embarrassing for Boston.
@@Littlethelion thanks Vincent
He is an underachiever in the postseason. No question. We were 3-1 when bergeron didn't play. We lost all the games he played in, and he was -6 for +/-. The bruins core underachieved. Tuukka rask is a great REGULAR SEASON goalie, Chara was a great defender, bergeron won 5 selkies, and Marchand and krejci were always up there in career +/-. This core won 3 president trophies in 10 years. But these are all regular season achievements. What about the postseason? 2010 - choke a 3-0 lead vs the flyers and blow a game 7 AT HOME when up 3-0 in game 7. 2011 - Get bailed out by Tim Thomas and win a cup 2012 - go nowhere 2013 - Choke game 6 AT HOME by giving up 2 goals in 30 seconds 2014 - choke game 7 AT HOME against Montreal 2015 - 2018 do nothing but miss the playoffs or get railroaded by tampa bay 2019 - Choke in the finals against the blues in game 7 AT HOME, lose 3 of your 4 HOME GAMES 2020 - Rask QUITS and leaves the bubble, get wrecked by tampa again. 2022 - lose in 7 as a wildcard team to superior hurricanes team 2023 - biggest choke ever blowing a 3-1 lead and losing 3 of your 4 HOME GAMES, including game 7 AT HOME. The bruins are a disaster in the postseason, and Bergeron is not the leader type that can lead a team to a cup. He plays too soft. We won that cup in 2011 in large part because Tim Thomas stood on his head, but also because players like Horton, Lucic/young Chara, and Seguin were on the team. Horton had the clutch scoring, lucic and chara were a physical force, and Seguin had real speed. Bergeron is a massive underachiever when you consider that the bruins led the league in points (wins + ot loss) over the last decade and have nothing to show for it.
*promosm*
deBrusk would not have been there, Bergeron would have retired and Krejci would not have cone back.....I don't know this as fact...but this is my take....and no , the playoffs were abysmal...but there was a record breaking and record setting season that would not have happened.
I don’t disagree with any of that but who cares about a record breaking season if you can’t make it last the first round of the playoffs?
Hmmm, I believe that they still wouldn't have gotten to the finish line w/ Cassidy.....there was a major disconnect there......They have also gotten close but didn't get a Stanley cup with Cassidy as coach....but good luck to him and the Golden Knights!!
If they had Cassidy they may not have gotten Krejci back and DeBrusk may have gotten traded
And what did Krejci do? DeBrusk is a whine bag. Hot and cold all year. Neither player is consistently reliable.
So when do you start putting the blame on players , who actually was on the ice,, Montgomery is a dang good coach, he did a good job in Dallas
Next year monty & bruins😊
UA-cam please stop putting this stuff in my feed its a waste who cares what this guy is saying while eating at an outdoor patio talking about a sport he’s not a player in. Respectfully thank you
I was saying the exact same thing leading up to game 7. I really believe that if Boston beat Florida in the 1st round, the Bruins would of exhaled a little bit, and they would have started playing more consistently...not turning over the puck, playing better defense in front of the goalie...AND that Coach Montgomery would've started playing both goalies more...mixing it up more. I truly believe they would've beaten Toronto in 6, and gone on to win the SC.🏆 It is what it is and it really sucks right now...BUT, I really believe if they got past the Panthers, they would've had some tough games/series...but they would've hoisted the SC 🏆& brought it back to Boston.
Unfortunately we can only speculate at this point!
@hockeynightinnewengland4320 Unfortunately yes...
Panthers for the same reason!! They're up 2-0....if they go up 3-0, Leafs' fans will be tightening up their "Sphincter Muscles". Obviously, I/We are all still stinging from the Bruins being done. It's gonna sting for a long time.
...personal battles aside... stacked team that falls short of expectations... who else is responsible? Hard to hang this one on upper management.
Poor coaching decisions aside, I would hang this on the team.
with bad line management in games 5 6 and meh management in 7. I swear he coached games 5 and 6 like he was behind 3-1 and 3-2. Also sticking with Ullmark for way to long consecutively (Swayman needed to start 5 and/or 6) and culminating with horrific collapse on the level of 2010 if not worse if you look at the season they had. As Bruce just casually advanced in 5 to round 2. My level of disappointment is .... immeasurable. Nothing against the guy personally* at all and hope for his continued sobriety. But the lights got bright real quick, perhaps to bright. Another cup run feels... far away.
I agree with everything, you said… Including your immeasurable disappointment.
I concur except for the ending pessimism... but I wouldn't sugarcoat this, either. Going into this season, I recall a lot of chatter about this being a rebuild year, McAvoy + Marchand had to rehabilitate significant injuries... and look what we accomplished? Past performance is, really, not an indicator of future results. And truth be told - a Cup feels + is likely closer for us than anyone else topping our season record this year. But yes. The heartbreak + frustration is all too real.
@@mariehelena2364 exactly. The team outperformed expectations but still a huge disappointing ending.
@@mariehelena2364 I mean .. I feel part of my Pessimism is based in the Salary cap. (I just dont see the Jacobs family going 'over cap' per say again, I wouldn't mind being proven wrong) I also don't see Bergy Or krejci coming back but never know. (Being honest I am still* bitter over the Seigun trade.. but thats a discussion for another day) But the other part is indeed based in history As I feel at this past performance being .. No indicator might be off. The further and further we get from 2011 the more and more it feels like an Aberration to me. Tim Thomas was really the reason we won that cup (In my opinion; I know there are plenty of other working parts but his was the biggest in my view) This core has truly under performed in the playoffs in almost * every year but 2011 and should realistically have at a minimum 2 cups - the choke against St Louis in 2019 was... bad that should have been a win in 6 at most. Not a choke in 7. Also the 2013 cup with the CBH.. not forcing a game 7 because you gave up 2 goals in less than 12 seconds (I Think?) was also a gut punch. The 2nd round exists .. 09 10 (that 3-0 loss sigh) 14 18 20 21 etc and the 1st round exists in 12 17 22 and this year my god they broke all those records sure, but I had them as a 50-52 win team going into the year and there is no excuse for this (or half of those teams listed) not making it to the ECF - they lose there ? Ok hard to swallow but they made a run) . This core had so much potential and its going to end with 1 cup and a lot of disappointment I feel.
Same. I honestly can’t watch them for awhile now.
Jeremy is a madman. He's insane. He will bring a win.
I like and support this GO Bs
Appreciate that
@@hockeynightinnewengland4320 No problem huge Bs fan and I 100% agree with what u said but this game is crazy
Nothing like an OT game at the Garden
I wondered if Jeremy was a military brat. Nonetheless he seems like a great kid ❤
He was not! He is a great guy though.
His father is a Podiatrist in Anchorage Alaska. Being a Doctor took him all around the country. He’s been in Alaska before Jeremy was born.
How come this channel has so little views?
The show airs on NBC Sports Boston. We don’t promote the channel…but we probably should!
This interview is hilarious I don’t know how it doesn’t have more views. Props to Gryzelck for being such a fun sport!
I love hallsy. He’s gets so much undeserved hate even though he’s such a great player. We love you here in Boston Taylor 🖤💛🐻

great show, but balance the audio. some parts are quiet, some are blasting
Great job guys, subscribed
His first NHL game is this Thursday vs the Bruins. I'm pretty pumped.
I consider myself very fortunate to have a nephew like Brian who I would say has brought our entire family parents grandparents aunt and uncles brothers sisters cousins friends closer to the game of hockey it was great watching him at Boston College for 4 years but then having him get drafted into the NHL was not only a dream come true for him but for our entire family his parents did a great job with him and I consider him the real deal on and off the ice and I think it has to do with the faith he was taught about at a young age and continues to apply in his everyday life he has shown us all with God Anything is Possible amen
The dad was tearing me up. 🥲 Loved it. I also loved seeing how computer tech is assisting player development. Very cool.
Thank you JoAnn! Season 2 premieres October 3. We hope you continue to enjoy the show.
