Use a stove fan for Dyno Glo wall heater!
As an alternative to the electric / powered / corded heater fan, I opted for a traditional wood stove fan to help circulate the hot air generated by the wall heater. For the price, I would rate this as a success.
There are dozens of choices on the internet, but I selected a model intended to mount to a vertical stove pipe - the more common version sits flat on top of a wood stove or wood burning oven. This model hooks on top to make the heat connection.
No wires, no plugs, no additional utility cost!

Upgrade & modification of Coleman CT200U-EX mini-bike foot pegs / foot rests (step-by-step install)
Переглядів 6 тис.3 роки тому
This is a popular upgrade for the Coleman and other mini bikes that come stock with the small round peg. These offer more area to rest your foot and are spring-loaded. This particular part was sourced on eBay, but you can find different ones on the typical web outlets. If you'd like something better than "metal-like substance," you can spend a few bucks more. Even as the cheapest ones I could f...

(1) Explanation of hydrolock common cause as well as walk-through of repair: This is a problem that happens with many small engines and the Coleman 196cc is no different. No need to freak out when this happens to you. Get your shop towels ready! Second part begins at 6:00: (2) Removal of throttle stop and adjustment for increase in speed and acceleration: Everyone mistakenly calls this the "gov...

Brake and tail light set-up for Coleman mini bike (CT200U-EX)
Переглядів 25 тис.4 роки тому
* Sorry for the vertical view - didn't think about it until midway through . . . Installation / walk-through video link: ua-cam.com/video/D-C9ChVvaHs/v-deo.html From the factory, these mini bikes do not have a tail light nor a brake light. It’s a safety issue and in some states, these are required to ride trails on public lands / state parks. This set up will NOT make the bike “street legal.” I...

so, I had a generator recently I thought might have hydro lock, I couldn't pull the start rope,.... I went to check the oil and it had gas in with it,..???? so I drained the oil,., then pulled the rope a few times to move things around, I refilled it with oil and it started right up,...??? was that hydro lock,..???
I have been trying to figure out how to get heat dispersement from my comfort glo heater. Thanks. Very helpful
Do u let it run without the oil in or do u add more in
@@OpiumGeo Get the oil out until the engine is free, then add more. It shouldn’t be very much. The hydrolock occurs with relatively little oil that gets inside the cylinder. Try to add the oil before running it for too long.
Can you send link
Great video. I hope it works for me.
Honest question: doesn’t making a hole in the handle make it weaker & prone to breaking?
I had no issues. These are all cheap pot metal, so your question isn't out of line, but it's really not a stress point where you run the wire through.
If you buy a 212 or 224 motor you need to run the headlight off the switch too. Just fyi for anyone needed to know
Only if you don't want to transfer all the lighting parts from the 196 to the 224.
@ basically yeah. I didn’t because I’m getting all the aftermarket shit
Ugh, wing nut fell down there ,,, what next?
Do you have any links for the exact parts you bought ? Your channel is great for mini bike mods
At least you can wire up things this can be used for any bike. I have one thinking also I have a MTD mini bike and a couple trikes
Sweet video dude thx so much cause I got pulled over by the police and everything was good but they said I needed a tail light so I just went the easy way and bought a tail like for a bicycle which works well other than its always on but I guess it's better than nothing for now until I just seen your video thx again Mike.
I have the same one - problem is it blows the air towards the wall & reflects off of that
Can you put the links for the items that you used? I've seen some other people asking this as well.
I need this so bad we only have propane, I can’t find this one
There are several listed on Amazon. I would compare the size of the fans - get one big one or two little ones, they both put out about the same air flow.
Do you have links for the everything?
Sorry, no links. Just use search on Google or Amazon (that's what I did) as the parts and suppliers tend to change.
So I did lose the wing nut somewhere in there I couldn’t find it at all I ended up taking off the recoil thinking it fell in there now the recoil pull cord won’t go back in it loosened up and now I have to buy a new recoil pull start and still haven’t found the wing nut
Anyway you could provide a link. I can't find it.
Man your clip here helped a Mexican out thank u
Wish I’d seen this before I completed mine. I used the tension switch for my LED brake lights.
Fun fact. RC LiPo batteries are the best batteries for these projects. Get some XT60 connectors and you're golden.
That's a great idea. I didn't want to bother with swapping them out and recharging, but that would work. The little battery I used was pretty cheap and for as little as you use the brake light, it should last a long time.
Do you have links for the break light and the battery?
Do you have the link for this kit on Amazon?
Cant the brake light be hooked to the front light wire?
Just bought the bike an hour ago and already got it hydrolocked
Are you in Arizona??
Great video. Wish you put links to what you got
would you provide the link for the "switch" on the lever assembly? thank you
It worked! Little too fast. HA!
I have a brake light and a 13,000 lumen mini LED light bar on my Baja I do a lot of night writing with a couple buddies in my battery will literally last almost 3 weeks with having it on during the day and at night when I ride so at least 3 to 4 hours each time I ride three times a week it'll last for almost a month before I have to charge it
What brake light is it?? You got a link for it??
Question i put a bigger motor on my mini bike how can i connect my front headlight to the battery and on and off switch i got the rear lights down just can’t figure out my big one
Please give more info on battery size and #
What Battery did you use❓❓❓❓❓❓‼️
The new hand bracket wouldn't fit with the old hand lever?
Nice how to do you have a link to the brake light thank you
Can you reply to this comment on where to buy these pegs?
Couldn't you just back the throttle screw out which would allow the plate you cut with the to move as far as you back the screw out
I was lucky....mine wasn't tack welded... backed it right out
I sure wish you could do a video hooking up the turn signal wires I followed every thing you did now I want turn signals and a horn great video …
You have know link for these parts
Im waiting on a massimo mb200 and i ran into the same issue of no one doing it so ill probably be making one of my own for that along with some underglow
Why does mine take off on choke when crank it. I literally have to run n jump on
I just cut the screw. Fast and easy.
What's volts on the battery your using and if you wanted to add blinkers is it enough power for both brake lights and blinkers?
12 volt battery should be plenty for signals
This is a great step by step video!
Thank you for the kind words!
Very helpful 👍🏻
So black from the brake lever switch goes to positive on battery and green goes red on brake light?
It really doesn't matter as long as you're consistent with the wire colors (to create a proper circuit).
I have the MB200v2 doing the full street legal conversion. I have video series on different bikes. All mods and restorations.
This didn’t work 😡😒😞
Pot metal
Yes, these aren't anything special. Probably the same material as the OEM, but the shape is much better to handle your feet.
I backed into a rock and snapped my original peg in half cheap aluminum I upgraded to pegs like this I love them
