@@bar20bbq70 There are times when those are required for certain applications, but I always suggest to stay away from those when possible as they will damage your door trim over time.

I use that type often for front or exterior doors, but rarely for bathrooms. Do you have a scenario that a magnet is needed for an interior door?

@@Kat-on3nm Thanks for the comment! A door stop on a baseboard is less noticeable than if it were installed on the door. It also does less damage when installed on a baseboard if the door were to be flung open than it would if the door stop was installed to the door.

I don’t disagree with you there. If it’s in a spot where someone could get close to stepping on it or kick it easily, you may want to go with a spring or floor mount stop instead.

What does your garbage disposal plug into?

If you have a chrome faucet, the more basic chrome supply is typically fine. However, if you have a more specialty finish, such as oil rubbed bronze, you will want this matching supply to tie in and not clash with your faucet finish.

​@@Sunless-Sunnylocks should at least be strong enough to create evidence of a break in for insurance. You want a broken window, you want a busted door jamb, or you want no theft at all. Saw marks are pretty visible. Normal locks are fine.

Thanks for the comment! I could see this being a risk for interior doors with no threshold or weatherstripping, but typically a front door would be pretty challenging to achieve getting a reach tool underneath and operating it successfully enough to get the latch to engage.
