Two California clapper rail chicks (an endangered species), a few weeks old, along the left bank of Meeker Slough in Western Stege Marsh at University of California, Berkeley's Richmond Field Station in RIchmond, California. Note there is a typo in the species name in the title. It is correctly spelled: Rallus longirostris obsoletus.

Hi. Here is another video of this endangered species on a morning forage along Meeker Slough adjacent to Marina Bay. The movie was taken with my Canon S5 Powershot- an excellent portable, but it gets a bit shakey when zoomed out. So when the bird flies it took a bit of time to recover, but I still got most of the call. Enjoy!
