Love this meter,, but one thing that is holding me back is the low diode test voltage. 2.0vdc is not enough to test semi conductors that need higher vootage 3.2v will be very much welcome.

I think it's nice there was the 3360-21 option, which includes harmonics monitoring. I see from the demo the advantage of non-touch screen display: you can operate the equipment without removing your gloves.

I have got one coming. This Multimeter is not just for Engineers but has real advantages for experienced Technicians and Electricians. At work I used Fluke Multimeters for 30 years. Now that I am retired and working on my own projects, it became clear that cheaper Multimeters might have all kinds of futures and functions but badly lack in Performance/Speed and accuracy, making them next to useless for any true diagnostics work. This is a great alternative to a Fluke and I am looking forward to give it a serious workout.

can hioki 3554 test 2.2 volt lead acid battery?

have a Hioki battery tester BT 3554. After measuring a battery I get resist 0.02 mOhm ( before was 3-5 mohm). I replaced battery but i still have same measurement by hioki Please can you advice me what can be wrong Setting on hioki tester is same like before

I m wondering why this product is from 60mA and above since all RCDs and Safety specifications refer to 30mA max.. Most electricians need to measure-check if the leakage current is close to 30mA in order to check the line (RCD tripping threshold) and to check people's safety...

Hello.....the green color cables is single core Live cable or Ground cable? To detect leakage, we need to clamp on both Live & Neutral cables.

I think these quick visual and audio alerts provide a useful advantage to the operator. My Hioki IR4057 also has this practical comparator function. My CM3286-01 has this alerts, too. I noticed it will flash red when test leads and clamp were not oriented correctly. also screen will flash red and beep at a reverse 3-phase sequence detected. I like the way Hioki implemented this instrument alerts. May not be for everyone, but it since it's geared for safety, it's good.
