How about considering doing a trial run on direct democracy on an issue to be decided by the members. Voter fatigue is a myth. That is how people get involved with what happens to them.

The crown estate has no right to Scottish land or territory. It never has.

Once direct democracy is seen to be working - even if it's initially only for local decisions made via Blockchain voting, it will reduce voter apathy - because those people will see their votes making a difference. It will also reduce corruption, as decisions will be made by the people, and less by politicians.

This is the level of brainwashing we are subjected to. We must take every opportunity to point out that, under Scots law and the Treaty of Union, the Westminster government has no right to Scottish assets without the well-informed consent of the Scottish people. Freeport, subjugation of the Scottish seabed, GB Energy, and no well-informed referendum or democratic event were ever held for any of them. All that and the selloffs of Scottish assets in the 80’s and 90’s are illegal under the Treaty of Union never mind, Scots constitutional law.

The British government have form stretching back many years and leaving behind freeports in former colonies. The Gambia is a classic example. The first time I came across these entities was through the song by Sinead O’Connor all about the pain of colonisation and slavery, Mandinka. Mandinka was a part of Senegambia, now largely called Senegal. Under the guise of protecting the people of The Gambia; a Freeport created as the colonisers; Britain and France divided up their African spoils the British government protect their Freeport. In return, wealthy Brits treat the Gambia as a holiday park under the guise of the hotels and hospitality jobs. To this day, they continue to clean the country out of it’s mineral and productive wealth under the guise of a post-Brexit preferential trade agreement. If anyone cares to research the history of The Gambia as a precedent as to the nature of what is happening under the guise of Freeports and Special Economic Zones throughout the British Isles, especially in Scotland as the coloniser retreats, please view it through the prism of a colonised nation with the question on the back of one’s mind, if there is no plunder to be had from these arrangements, why bother?

It's always been the case, voting for the best of the worst. Their offerings are dire, their leaders clueless and conform to the Western agenda... neoliberal globalist entrapment. There are people moaning about Westminster, about Holyrood, without acknowledging that it is a deliberate Western problem; schooling, housing, health care, roads, drug policy, etc. Yep, what we need is a racially new approach. It is interesting that a few new Parties are popping up, but they have to be actually democratic, and all members must have an equal say. What Scotland needs though is its own Constitution which is written to be clear and cover all possibilities, but essentially stating that Politicians must serve the will of the People, and failing that, they are out without need to wait full term, and certainly no large pensions, etc. Politics has become a big business for the politicians; they milk the public purse for everything they can get and then have the audacity to demonised, pursue, and prison the few who dare milk the benefits system for their own gain. There should be a cap on salaries for every public body. I mean, who really needs more than £60,000 per year? I'd be happy enough earning £30,000 per year as a MSP, even as FM. The "you won't get quality unless the salary is quantity", is just nonsense. Not once in my lifetime have I seen quality in any public leadership or body. We've got to get rid of these trite mythologies. The real issue is getting people to wake up, and engage their intellect rather than petty emotions which are simply conditioned reactions due to hypnosis.

I dont agree with Peter, there are plenty of orgs and groups in Scotland, many people dont want to be in a political party. There needs to be a movement. Liberation.scot is one..the best way you get international recognition is by having a recognised movement. You can then stand candidates from the movement. This also reqires funds, standing in elections needs funds. The different groups will all vote if there is a vote on Independence..

At the end of the day, more people live in Yorkshire than live in Scotland. some people don't want to live in a country of 5 million , when you could live in a country of 65 million. A constitutional convention is required to unify the independence vote across all parties backed up by the decolonisation measures currently being put in place by Salvo. Then, a unified independence vote can be placed in a democratic event overseen to be fair and free of Unionist propaganda and downright lies by the United Nations. Then, with democratic backing and international law, the Scots draw up a document that declares Scotland as a country, free of political or fiscal control or influence by any other country, signed and sealed by the elected representatives of each organisation signatory to the convention in a manner akin to the Declaration of Arbroath and a Convention of the Estates. The independence movement must leave behind any party not signatory to the convention. Therein lies the sovereign power of the people described in all the legislation running up to and now embedded within the Claim of Right. After a closing date for signatories to the convention, all grassroots supporters of home rule for Scotland must abandon any party not signed up to the convention.

SOVEREIGNTY is a new political party in Scotland already registered. It stands for independence out-with Britain, Europe and United Nations. There’s no need for another political party which stands for exactly the same thing.

The reason we have spent so many years is because our politicians sit in Westminster and line all their pockets at our expense. They are on the Westminster Gravy Train and have no intention of making themselves unemployed. The only reason the UK exists is because our pokutucuans sit in Westminster. Politicians will not deliver it for us. No Liberation Movement has ever won independence through Politicians or Political Party. It has to be a people's movement that will gain our independence. We only become an independent country once we are given International Recognition by other countries as an independent country. Is the New Scotland Party registered yet? I know for a fact certain individuals (one of whom has a habit of provoking activists to commit crimes to entrap them in the criminal justice system) have been collecting peoples’ data and donations for years.
