אני שר את השיר שנושא את שם הספר שלי : " ענקים מתים זקופים ".
(נכתב ביחד עם ידידי ,דורון רוזנבלט/שמשוןשטרן)
זה היה באירוע ההשקה של הספר בתרגומו לגרמנית . Giganten Sterben Aufrecht
הערב הנפלא באולם הקונצרטים של מינכן היה במסגרת -שבוע התרבות היהודית .
לאחר הברכות וקטעי המוסיקה קרא השחקן הידוע : מקס סימונישצק קטעים נבחרים מהספר.
בסוף הערב , שרתי את שיר הנושא של הספר בעברית ובאנגלית.
האירוע , כולל ראיון איתי צולם ע"י הטלוויזיה הגרמנית .
At the launch event of my book
" Giants die standing tall" which was translated into German. -"Giganten sterben aufrecht"
The launch was at the Munich Concert Hall.
After the greetings and musical excerpts, the well-known actor: Max Simonischeck read selected excerpts from the book.
At the end of the evening, I sang the book's theme song in Hebrew and English.
The entire event was filmed by German television.

חברי הטוב דויד ברוזה הגיע לטיפול במרפאתי. סיפרתי לו על ספרי החדש : "ענקים מתים זקופים " , אותו כתבתי עם דורון רוזנבלט . הספר הוא אודות מסע הנקמה של אבי לאחר מלחמת העולם השניה. סיפור בריחתו מפולין לרוסיה שבמהלכה הפך מבן תרבות לחיית טרף רצחנית. השמעתי לברוזה את השיר שנושא את שם הספר - ענקים מתים זקופים , הוא התרגש מאד כשהאזין לביצוע שלי ומיד ביקש את רשותי לבצע את השיר. לאחר 3 ימים השיר היה מוכן. ...

השיר הזה נכתב במקור תחת השם: "ענקים מתים זקופים" שמשויך לספר שכתבנו דורון ואני. השקתו של הספר "ענקים מתים זקופים", הייתה אמורה להיות בימים אלו - כמובן שהחלטנו על דחייה לימים טובים יותר. השיר המקורי הוא על אבי שהיה שייך לחבורת נוקמים לאחר מלחמת העולם השניה. ב 7 לאוקטובר , שינינו את השיר לחלוטין . הנושא קשה ורגיש , נותר לי רק להוסיף תפילה לחזרת כל החטופים במהרה. שִׁבְעָה בְּאוֹקְטוֹבֶּר שְׁקִיעָה...

סיפור הדגל של הספר "ענקים מתים זקופים" הוא אקורד הסיום לכל הפרויקט של דורון רוזנבלט ושלי. כשהתחלנו לעבוד על הפרויקט היה לנו הפורמט ברור: לכל סיפור יצורף שיר שלי ואיור של דורון. לילה אחד, לקראת סוף הפרויקט התעוררתי ולא יכולתי להירדם. יתוש זמזם לי באוזן, הוא זמזם לי שחסר משהו בסיסי בסיפור. וא נחתה עלי התובנה. חסר שיר הנושא את שם הספר. לא חיכינו הרבה למחרת כבר כתבנו את "ענקים מתים זקופים" והקלטנו....
