Two men talking about things more men should talk about.
Why Do We Tie Our Worth to Achievements?
In this episode, Logan and Faiez delve into the complex relationship between ambition and insecurity. They explore the contrasting beliefs that often drive highly successful individuals, such as feeling simultaneously inadequate and superior to others. The discussion highlights the importance of discipline and execution in achieving one's goals, as well as the challenge of managing the ego and seeking validation from others.
Logan and Faiez share their personal experiences with navigating rejection in sales and the shift in perspective that can turn a perceived loss into an opportunity. They also discuss the value-added approach to follow-up emails, emphasizing the need to enhance the client's perspective rather than simply seeking approval.
The conversation then turns to the motivations behind ambition, acknowledging the mix of personal and professional drivers that can fuel one's drive. They delve into the emotional baggage that often accompanies success and the importance of continuously recommitting to one's passions.
Throughout the episode, Logan and Faiez offer insights into the nuances of work-life balance, the role of partnerships, and the value of self-awareness in managing one's ambition and insecurities.

I think there's even more to it, but that's a really good conversation.
Seemed impossible, but it’s been over 2 years and I don’t crave a drop of alcohol, the key difference was that I didn’t suffer withdrawal, not even within the first 30 days, just happened after go’ogling Steffon Barkload's latest and genuinely quitting because I was a mess.
Allow your spirit* to lead
A man def juggles about 4 to 5 priorities...any more the standard of being a productive man that provides ,protects, and has to sacrifice their lives at a job , just to live. Science has shown that women have been made tough on the inside due to being put through pain from a man or life through history. Its like women adapted to pain and learned that we must go on for the family even if the man feels inadequate from all the tiny thoughts that ruminate through a mans mind. I think there is more pressure on men in general to provide and ultimately sacrifice their time for their family. The woman will function as good as the man treats her...as a reflection...until a woman realizes she has people depending on her. This can turn both genders into robots. We must stay creating and truly living meaningful connected lives with our loved ones. This is where someone in general, ones morals would decide the priorities and the order of euch said priorities based on their core beliefs. Its supposed to be the man as the head of the household as he holds himself to a standard that is effective and productive. Men are forced to conform it seems. They have to choose. Women conform but then must transform into her most selfless self to serve and raise the home. If this order is followed and the man seeks righteousness and puts God first., the woman can then be the supportive backbone to the man who lives with that goal to be the best version of himself as well for others. Both must be willing to sacrifice, peservere like our ancestors, keep and teach the right way to live in the home by example and for the fact you appreciate the ones u love in ones life. We all have tbings we live and work for ..but u must see your time as the currency. We were aol duped into believing money was worth more than our time and now we will work our whole lives and pay to live until we hopefully retire yet, by then our bodies will then be old and we gave all our life to a job. It would be hard to get out the that "matrix" aspect. I relate bc you both are introverts like me ....alot of relatable words. Just found this podcast and subbed bc i also must keep that balance and watch my husband juggle and stress over this time to provide for us vs time to spend with us. Our minds know we sholdnt be living in such conformity without community. This is why so many are stressed. One must look at the bigger picture and look at the value of your one life to live.... But then again, we all are just trying to get by. Love from TN
