I’ve just taken mine apart and I wish I could add photos to your post as I’ve found out why mine doesn’t record to the micro sd card. The power on switch is the only switch that’s on the circuit board, all the other switches on both sides of the camera are fake and do not connect to anything on the circuit board.

Mine is exactly the same. When I plug the usb to my pc it doesn’t recognise the camera at all unless I need to slot the micro sd card in directly!

I have those same airpods and mine do autopause as well and it is driving me insane. Happens only with my left airpod. it works fine if I only use the right airpod

Worst camera to setup I have ever encountered. I have no idea what the instructions actually mean. You would think the manufacturer would at least try it on a few english speaking consumers before releasing it. Absolutely horrific!

The firmware is exactly the same on my Brica BPRO5 Alpha Edition Mark II S action camera (I know this because it has the same startup sound), and all of the video qualities you've shown are identical. However, my Mark II S has survived drops onto stairs, being used as an outdoor timelapse camera for a week, and various human errors. I bought it and have been using it since June 22nd of this year. And today, it still works perfectly fine

I bought this sh.. the only thing it need is to install a heatsink above that only chip the camera have and i think it will work with no cut but the video quality is enough to tell that your room is stolen 😭

i 've had lot of problems with sds, many come from china, from amazon and ali, many are front end fake, fake brand, fake memory storage, fake amounts, fake reliability.

try finding a firmware for it online and put it on a formatted sd card then reboot the camera with the card plugged in

Here's a trick to help. Most scams are online so going into a store will usually get you a real one.

This camera is pure electronic waste. It is waste from Chinese companies and sold only on Ali-expres or Temu etc. (or currently on Alle-drogo, who buy this crap on these portals and sell it more expensively at home) for potential naive people, e.g. from Europe or the USA. No Chinese person buys on these portals because they know very well that it is just crap. They buy on Chinese portals in a country (in Chinese only), where only Chinese citizens can register and there these products are fully functional. This supposed A9 mini camera is crap above crap and the main drawback is a completely used or broken battery. In addition, it does not meet any other parameters, such as the viewing angle is about 20-30 degrees, the image quality is tragic like in phones from 22 years ago, other functions such as alarms, motion detection, night vision, recording etc. do not work. Once the camera turns off, you can't turn it on again, the Wi-Fi connection is interrupted and so on, just misery. I would like to point out that companies in China produce about 600 million different cameras per year (largely for spying on their citizens), which means that such production produces a lot of waste. On average, about 8-10% is waste, which means that almost 50-60 million of these cameras should be disposed of, which is extremely expensive, especially the disposal of these batteries. And the yellow brains of the Chinese came up with a brilliant idea, why dispose of it at home when you can push this crap (and other electronics) on naive people from the rest of the world for supposedly ridiculous money, especially to "rich" Europeans or Americans. And that is why portals like Ali-expres etc. are springing up like mushrooms after the rain, which pursue this goal. That is why you absolutely must not buy this Chinese electronic waste even for such little money, because it is better to give it to the poor than to these sly guys from their pseudo portals.

Probably the weirdest camera you've ever bought and tried testing it out? Video quality is quite similar to the fake SQ cameras but much worse

I have OFFICIAL SanDisk cards that have the Adaptors With the "lip" on the front. I also have SanDisk cards from China with the paper packaging that did crack in the front and did not have the plastic film holding the card inside the plastic. Mine are from china with Chinese and English writing on them. But are official. I've compared my North American packaging and it is harder to open and does not crack.

Great review, i like how you roast the heck out of them and even swearing. Try reviewing a cheap 4K action camera that you can find in $20-80 price range because most of them offer video quality pretty much similar to the GoPro Hero 4. but at this price range, i expect them to be laggy at 4K30FPS resolution (more like 4K at 24FPS). Even theres branded model (Brica, an Indonesian brand but probably not internationally widely known) that i got for $67 lags horribly at 4K 30FPS, and of course i used a microSD card with 4K UHD support (Sandisk Extreme Pro) but still the same. The model is "Brica B-PRO 5 Alpha Edition Mark II S" released at around 2017

testing everything you mentioned. it turns out u're right. no production date on adapter, packaging can be torn apart just by folding it. actual size is not 256gb, but instead 80gb for some reason

I bough that camera some months ago and the sd card placement was wrong so I had to open up the camera and put it how it supposed to be I only got one video from that camera , after that it dint work it turned on but it dint record or take photos and a couple of seconds later it will just turn off

not had card came free carry case for years, may just be old stock and second one new stock? the packing has changed?

June 2024 , just bought this worthless pc. of crap they call a "cam" ! Battery life is poor, cannot keep it connected to home wi-fi. Thanks for the review , it was on point exactly as the product came ! Disgusted and returning it .
