We are thrilled to share some exciting news from Kinsterna Hotel, Monemvasia! As part of our ongoing commitment to sustainability and corporate responsibility, we are proud to announce that our hotel is now fully energy autonomous thanks to the completion of our new photovoltaic park.
This state-of-the-art solar energy system, with a capacity of 600KW, generates 1,000 MWh annually, fully powering our entire property. By transitioning to renewable energy sources, we have eliminated the need for solid fuels and are significantly reducing our carbon footprint by preventing approximately 429,000 kilograms of CO2 emissions each year.
But our efforts don’t stop there. We are also dedicated to giving back to the community. Our solar power initiative supports local non-profits and vulnerable groups, and we offer free electric vehicle charging for all our guests, promoting the use of clean energy.
