This stretch was one of my favorites on the entire trail. Mt. Washington was absolutely insane and I ended up taking a bad weather bypass on the way down because there were 100mph gusts happening on the presidential's with rain. The landscapes were incredibly beautiful in this section and the Notch was one of the most radical miles. A lot of people dread this part but I found it to be a lot of fun, especially with the crew that I tackled it with. I took a rest day in Rangeley for my 5 months anniversary on trail.
