How to tie an FG Knot
There are a number ways to tie an FG Knot, some include tools and others require the line to be tight and don't lend themselves to being tied in rough conditions. This is the way that i tie it and it can be done in pretty much any weather conditions.

How to Attach a Flyline to the Backing pt2
Did you get keep same guide all trip. I’m going in October. Staying at the Villages.
No, we changed guides each day. You would probably be able to request the same guide if you wanted too, but I found they all had there different preferences for working areas and I found that variety good.
@@MyFishingObsession101 Thanks for the input, the video was great!
How often do you see crocs over there? I haven’t really seen any since moving to Townsville last month
This year has been pretty consistent. As the weather warms up though you wont see as many. But there are plenty of little ones in all the creeks around Townsville. Low tide you'll see more.
Awesome vid, beautiful place, what lodge did you stay at? Fishing right out the backyard, way cool!
Awesome place mate. I stayed at The Villiages Lodge. Have a chat to Andrew Vockler at in2fly.
What fun! Just watched it with Bumble. She was impressed by the trevs. I was taken by the triggers. I think I'd probably dedicate most of my time to them, given the choice!
Triggers were definitely more of a challenge!! Lift the rod to cast at 60ft and they would spook!
Nice work Michael. All cod/groupers (Serranidae) in QLD are protected by a MLS of 38cm.
Thanks Renae :-) that’s a great thing :-) I found the 2.0 app easy to find things too even if the names were different :-)

So it’s not on the boat ramp mmmm
It does say at, not on :-)
No reading glasses required
Definitely not!!
I still like cutting off the stock welded loops, then doubling the ends over and securing with two nail knots to make my own. Probably makes nil difference considering the size of the outfits I like to fish, but I have not had one even look like giving out. The extra thickness of the sheath, the fact that there are no weak links in the section of core just gives me some peace of mind. That, and I get to make that loop as small as I want, which slips in and out of the guides easier than braided ones, especially if you encapsulate it with some nice UV resin.
Nice work Mick looks like heaps of fun
That paddletail with a clip-in belly treble is pretty slick!
Berkley Cull Shad :-) look the goods in the water too!
