Them should be good enough eh jimmy, I've got some old Shakespeare mate had em over 20 years and still going strong mate,tite lines jimmy. What time saying is Jim is that some of this cheaper tackle is as good or even better than big brand gear eh mate,

The metal plate with the bivvy light goes on the outside of the bivvy so the light can be attached by the magic of magnetism from the inside. The small hole is for a bit of braid or line to attach it to one of the poles so you don't lose it [I think that's what it is for].

its tidy for the price i got one but a few issues i had where one of the areas where you peg down is ripped. the ground sheet doesnt fit correctly and its not the most waterproof, okay for showers or light rain but as soon as it starts to rain a bit more you start to get water ingress, also you cannot get a overwrap for it so condensation becomes a real pain
