      Hey Panda, I hear what your saying...the factory Vega's where never blessed with a lot of pony's under the hood for sure. How do you spin it? Make a remote 12v motor? That would be awesome

    • @uzbasicmotorsports
      @uzbasicmotorsports 2 роки тому

      Nick, thank you for the question. When you ask "How do you spin it?" Are you asking how the oil is pumped from the sump through the oil filter and back to the engine? Thank you in advance for clarification so I can answer you question correctly.

    • @RoboDriller
      @RoboDriller 2 роки тому

      @@uzbasicmotorsports I see the arbor on the side that has a clockwise rotation arrow. I'm assuming people would use a drill to spin the primer pump. I put a remote oil filter cooler on my 6.4 powerstroke. It increased my oil capacity to 6.5 gallons. When I start the engine in the winter months, I get several seconds of no oil pressure. I'm thinking this would fix that problem. Push 10 degree 5/w40 into the engine while the glow plugs are warning up

    • @uzbasicmotorsports
      @uzbasicmotorsports 2 роки тому

      @@RoboDriller I now understand what you are asking me. Thank you. You are correct with regards to utilizing a drill. I haven't seen one that is automatic but if you are willing to utilize a screw gun to pump up that oil into the engine this would help to get away from no lubrication while cracking. I only actual do that after the car has sat without the engine running for at least 24 hours.

    Why my car smell fuel inside ??

    • @uzbasicmotorsports
      @uzbasicmotorsports 2 роки тому

      Tony, thank you for the question. My question is what year, make and model? Is it EFI or normally aspirated? Just thinking you may possible have some sort of a leak in a line, carburetor running rich, harder to determine problem with EFI. If you are smelling raw gas in your car check for locations that are leaking out unburnt fuel at least to start the process.

      @@tonycervantes4816 If the sensor is dirty or failing it can send incorrect measurements. If the exhaust coming from the tailpipe smells like gasoline, the vehicle computer is sending too much gas into the fuel injectors and it is not burning it all off. A Fuel Pressure Regulators can go bad as well. It could cause gas leakage, rough running at idle and regular speeds, a strong gas smell inside of the vehicles, and it can be a potential safety hazard. Also be sure that your exhaust system is working properly and has no holes of loose nuts/bolts that could be causing additional smell in your vehicle.

      Yeah, no that isn't right....you may want to try injector cleaner as a first step. Best thing to do is take it to a shop and have them hook it up to a diagnostic computer to verify where you could be having this issue. Hopefully this helps a little. Thank you for your question.
