While Colorado may be overrated, they are still talented at most positions compared to Nebraska. They lost players to the portal but recruit the portal just as well. Nebraska has the advantage on the line of scrimmage which is probably why they win the game.

Seems pretty likely to go this way. A lot of B1G teams travel really well and the Rose Bowl is a bucket list so it probably will be higher attendance than usual, but because of opposing team's fans

You have no clue the talent they have. They’re even or better talent than everyone aside from Oregon. Recruiting didn’t struggle just had transfers due to coaching changes.

Our projection for Oregon State is pretty close to their floor. We think they could reach 8 or 9 wins but there's been so much change that it's hard to see

@@user-pj3sy7mx6u and thats why their recruiting class is ranked 73 and their portal class is 53 on 247 sports? Get a grip man, everyone who left the program saw the writing on the wall. OSU/WSU can't and won't recruit any better than the top G5 at this point, and frankly they never really did recruit that well anyways. on top of that they have basically no returning production, so a lot of positions may get filled with talented players but they still don't have the experience which is crucial at this level. Lastly, the only team they play from the MWC who has a worse roster/reutrning production is air force, so I don't think OSU is going to even be able to come close to beating some of these teams this year.

If you're talking about Ohio State you very well might be right. We're leaning towards them splitting the regular season and B1G championship

30% seems a little high to me. After we had recorded the Oregon video and done more research on Boise State we did change our minds a bit on the percentages. Our predictions constantly evolve but we also can't contradict ourselves in separate videos. We thought Boise might be closer to 10-15% for the Oregon game. Overall though, Boise is probably the favorite out of the G5 and if they can avoid an upset, they should be able to secure that playoff bid. Florida has a brutal schedule so they're probably going to win the games they can actually hang around in. The Ole Miss game could be close but still will definitely be a tough upset to pull off. Thanks for watching and good luck to your team

The last 3 years we played Ole Miss we have played them very tough. We have only lost by a combined total of 7 points. I think we will keep it close but not sure if we can pull off the win. Florida is a dumpster fire right now. I know it's on the road but we have dominated them the past few years. I would agree with most of your predictions but I would go 8-4 with a win at Florida

I love the optimism, but as we mentioned in the video, Florida has not been the same powerhouse that they used to be and part of that means that they struggle against teams who can plug and play. DJU is a pretty solid QB you are overlooking and FSU had a much worse QB when Jordan Travis went down. They have the talent advantage in this year's matchup. LSU and Texas are better than you think as well. We believe that the Gators will be a regular in the top 25 and start climbing soon, but not this season. Our guess is that Napier will be fired in the offseason and they will bring in a better head coach who utilizes more of Florida's recruiting prowess in their own state. A bright future is ahead but we just don't see many wins this season.

@@ranknfilesports2024 i can understand the view point but dj u is trash that’s why he got benched in Clemson by a good coach…and in all actuality the gators were 2 plays away from being 7-5 and like 2 penalties to 5 plays away from being 8-4 or 9-3….gators are better then you give them credit for…wait and see..cause a few minor tweaks or better luck and the gators easily beat fsu,missouri,arkansas, and utah last year… that’s 9-3 man come on… gators could very possibly be undefeated when they play Georgia if they play to their full potential…., im betting 8-4 and billy keeps his job honestly…

I don't hate Florida so I'd like to see them do well again. The SEC could use a shakeup. We just have that all happening next season. If they do fire Napier we're leaning towards a Lane Kiffin hire away from Ole Miss. They're kind of capped in talent there so we see him taking a job in a state with a better pipeline like Florida

Miller Moss will have to prove he is a great QB. That's a tough thing to do off the bat. LSU also had defensive issues in the SEC which was simply a better conference than the PAC 12. We are by no means the people who push SEC bias but it is one of the two best conferences. USC struggled a lot last year because of their defense and with Caleb Williams at QB they couldn't find a way to win games. That's not something that makes me trust in them to win games against higher competition

@@ranknfilesports2024 Fair enough. Miller does have to prove it. It helps that he has been with the program four years now and he is familiar with his WR’s. I think he will actually run Riley’s offense better than Caleb and get rid of the ball quicker like he did against Louisville.

They have a lot of talent and hype surrounding them but I don't think they'll end up 12-0. Most college teams aren't consistent enough to remain undefeated. We have only 4 teams who could go undefeated : Ohio State, Oregon, Georgia, and Texas

Jackson Arnold has one start under his belt in the bowl loss to Arizona. They lost 4 offensive line starters to the draft and the other to the transfer portal so they have 5 brand new starters for their team

Iowa scored 13 points in that game last year. The Huskers offense will be improved this year which makes it tougher. Iowa will probably be favored and very well could win. Our goal is to predict the correct record for every team. Once we look at the schedule and figure out a record we find the games they will most likely lose and balance it with every other team. Nebraska has a good enough chance to win so we picked them to get Iowa the correct overall record

I totally agree with you on the record part but few things 1 last year was in Lincoln. 2 it's a home game . 3 you never been to a night game at iowa its a whole different atmosphere. 4. Iowa will be 8-4 9-3 but will not loose to nebraska.

It's a rivalry game on the road so it's not out of the question. Connor Harrell is a very talented dual threat QB for the Tar Heels so while NC State may be slight favorites we like the pick of UNC winning at home

@@ranknfilesports2024 nc state is a heavy favorite, they have a way better offense than they have had in years, and their defense is just as good as it was last year, although you may be a fan of unc you need to understand that unc isn’t as good as they were years ago, they are a descending program and will continue to be under their coach. Nc state has learned how to beat unc and I don’t see it being anywhere close to a toss up by the time that game is near.

We aren't UNC fans, we're giving our unbiased predictions. As of right now NC State is 4 point favorites. You're right that UNC isn't the team they were with Sam Howell but they're still a respectable team. You might be surprised. We'll have a video out on the Tar Heels in the next few weeks. Having Louisville at 9-3 feels right but they could definitely break double digit wins this season. 10-2 is probably the ceiling though.

Arizona is more talented than a lot of people realize. Both teams will likely be ranked so we don't think it's fair to say they have no chance. But we do agree that the Utes are going to be tough to beat at home and will likely win that game

Florida is definitely a winnable game. I just think with all the hype around the Canes that them losing off the bat seems fitting

With Alan Bowman and Ollie Gordon they definitely have the offense to do it. Definitely a few other contenders in the conference but they're a great choice.

I'm afraid that 11-1 is probably not the worst case scenario. The game against the Buckeyes is a highly likely loss and upsets CAN happen. Good chance to make the playoffs this year regardless. Good luck!

It would be tough to recover from, but their next 3 games are very difficult to lose so I wouldn't worry about the 0-1 start. The timing is really why I picked A&M. A road game in week 1 is more difficult than a road game in the middle of the season when you have a QB making his 1st start in the offense. A&M is a tough place to play and it is a night game. Notre Dame definitely can win, but we think there are a few more things swayed in the Aggies favor so we picked them

@@ranknfilesports2024 If Notre Dame didn't have such a bad history with 0-1 starts, I would be fine with 11-1 with a loss to start the season. If it happens, I pray you're right about 11-1. It's really what happens after. I know 2011, 2016, and 2022, I was just wanted to cuss my team out in person, because those were seasons of talent being wasted. Also, I get what you're saying about home field advantage, but at the same time I'm not sure about College Station being that intimidating. Their crowd may be loud, but true home field advantage is being loud, and actually winning consistently. I get they're an SEC school, but other than Johnny Manziel, they've been a mediocre 8 win team at best, averaging only 4 wins in SEC play. Kinda like South Carolina. Freeman knows how to prepare for SEC crowd when he has that much time to prepare, the Gator Bowl his first year had 90% South Carolina fans, and it didn't stop his offense from scoring a game winning TD. When ND scored that TD with over a minute left it got really quiet. Ohio Stadium, Sanford Stadium, Clemson's Death Valley, Autzon Stadium, and The Big House scare me way more. Their crowds are loud, and the home team actually wins. You have to actually win your home games if you want to talk home field advantage. The Aggies defense may give Notre Dame a scare, but Notre Dame's defense will be too much in the end. I actually have Notre Dame going 12-0 with this weak schedule, and hosting round one at home(Please🙏).

I think that's probably a worst case scenario. Washington isn't as good as they were last year. Neither is Michigan. And Oregon got better
