I think it’s so sad that Mariah Lopez got overrun that season with Oklahoma. Like Beth Mowins said, Patty Gasso claimed it was Mariah‘s year, and then she allowed G. Juarez to take over. It was really great seeing Mariah transfer and be able to shine in Arizona. She deserved that, but she also deserved to shine at Oklahoma. I know the “championship mindset” has led them to eight titles, but there’s starting to be a very long list of casualties strewn along that path. I love Oklahoma, but one has to question how much sacrifice needs to really happen for each one of those titles. 😢

His teams play and compete well against the big boys, in spite of the academic and physical standards, as well as the military requirements. After terrible years from 1999 under bad AD 's, losing to Navy from 2002 for more than 10 years, Army hired a good AD, Corrigan who hired Monken. The ticket prices have gone up, but the team is fun to watch again. This game against OU shows that Army is no longer a laughing stock of D1 football. Beat Navy!!!!
