My three years ago self would have had disagreed with this profusely, saying he'd rather was never born or got frozen in time, somewhen in nostalgic childhood. My current self, though, does agree. Every month, i hope i'm coming closer to agreeing with this a little more. I don't blame my past self for such thoughts, I'm just proud of him for living through all that anyway and allowing me to experience life at its kindest. It is a gift! I love life.

It's a gift to exist but at the same time you don't have a right to live. Work or no Money, food, water or any other ones of your human needs. Sorry if this is a rude wake up call but the world isn't perfect its beautiful but its also full of flaws and horrible people. Only by accepting the good and the bad can you see the world clearly.

More recently, I’m going through some health issues that have prevented me from leaving the house and living my life. It’s been hard, some days I am so angry, but I keep waking up to this idea that existence is a gift. In spite of all I’ve gone through, and continue to go through, each day that I wake up I am grateful that I am alive. Even if it sucks, haha.
