Hey! Unfortunately, i have to say that this particular example rely like ~90% on external sequencing. In general, MxB sequencer is not something rly complex, but you can try some creative approach with sequencer + custom LFO

i never owned DM6, but i bet its in the same place where it is on DM12, check out on video (dont have DM12 anymore to double check that ;))

Hi there. Im using motu896mk3, which is in general not DC coupled aswell, but phone out IS DC coupled (i bet that scarlett phone out is DC coupled too). So, im using little Y splitter from stereo to dual mono. And DC coupling is only needed for slow rates signals, audio rates can be handled by AC coupled in/outs. Fully loaded VCV screen is more like beginner issue, the more im using modular (these days hardware aswell) im using less and less modules, as you can find out how to achieve same results with less patching :)

@@reaktiv1408 i think that you have two phones outputs there, on the front panel :) so, if those can be separated and if those are DC coupled a i think they are, you have 4 DC coupled outputs to use on the 18i8 scarlett mk2

yes, it works just fine. If you want to trigger gates with external input, make sure to turn on "Audio gate" to "on" state on the back panel. If not, try to open gate with keyboard itself, and play anything through audio in- remeber there is a gain dial and switch in there

Hey. Matrixbrute is sending all notes, regardles of mode its running. That means, in paraphony it will play last 3 notes, but it will send all held notes through midi anyway. Same with monophony- it will play one note in given note priority and send all other over midi. In split mode, you can set different midi channels for each zone, but it will still send all notes held in that zone etc. regardles of what matrix is playing itself.

@@mgSynthh wow dude that's a game changer (I mean, not for synthesis, but for how I would use my matrixbrute). Everything about this synth is perfect

@@danielmulholland5869 I think its how it usually works, but cant be sure. Midi keyboard is sending all midi (in general, not only matrixbrute), but the sound engine itself will decide what to do with it. If there is no quirk solution for given synth, it should work that way. You can even try that with, for example two v-collection vst synths

Regarding polyphony, will this midi trick work with other synths or is it specific to the MB? For instance I have a sub phatty. Could I use that as a polyphonic controller?

Actualy, even single wavetable oscillator (like in pro-3) could work, im thinking about bringing one from eurorack as dedicated one for MxB external input

i dont think so- dx7 is FM synth, its totaly different approach. As you said, its sine osc. and what its all about is modulating one sine with another sine, and that one with another, and layer that with another, modulated by another ;)

yes, in fact, im suprised how good it sounds as "gritty organic" layer to typical pad sounds from other synths- even if it only covering 3 random notes at a time

@@user-cq1zh6rd6d Hi. No, there are no polish characters in the project name or filename. I just uploaded version with shorter filename to minimize conflict, you can try it, but i dont rly know how to help here. Maybe, make sure that MCC is up to date aswell. Any idea? Also, please let me know if you make this works somehow!
