Simply we can say.. Money already paid in application 700x40= 28000 Money needs to pay through alloted 600x40 =24000 Here, excess 4000 Now arrears been in alloted share 600 x 30= 18000 By deducting excess 4000 New arrear 14000... First learn thorougly and make video (suggestion)
Thank you for your feedback!!! Sometimes when securities premium is involved, ur calculatoon wont reveal how much of premium has been received and how much is in arrears, that will later affect the preparation of journal entry for forfeiture where unpaid premium has to be debited. If part premium has been paid because of excess amount and remaining has not been paid, students will get confused there. In order to avoid that confusion, we make the working note. Thank You
I teach in such a manner that even average students can get good understanding of what happens without skipping any step. Later when they figure it out, they will jump some steps, which you have done. That's good!!! But as a teacher I have to think about everyone and not just the ones who are quick
