This is one tough girl.

It really depends on the country you live: I had to study in a university without any help for my slow learning brain. A great cold in childhood made my learning process more difficult. I feel like I am not able to learn and retain what I learn/read/write/hear like I should. For example I don't know what I did yesterday as long as it didn't touch me, inspired me. I don't know when and what was my ever first movie I watched at a cinema! Sometimes I have to watch the trailer of a movie to remember about it. I get bored doing the same thing twice, there must be a span of time until I am in the mood for trying it again (no matter it's candy crush Saga). But schools don't wait till I am in the mood for something... Thank God I finished school long ago, but my memory of the hardest time of my life is still in my mind

If the spinal cord is only bruised instead of severed there is hope of recovery but 100% recovery is extremely rare. She is very fortunate to be able to walk with a walker. I hope they are trying to get her onto crutches.
