@@peekaboo7958 I did yes! I went into file manager/FTP and manually deleted a lot of the infected files. One thing that made it easier was that there were a ton of fake files with the same name, like index.php so I was able to bulk delete some of them. I also reinstalled wordpress (except wp-content) using ftp One thing as well is that there were fake cron jobs that didn't show up in the scan. So go into your cron jobs (means regularly scheduled events) and make sure there aren't any fake ones. I also got Wordfence to get my site protected! I used that to scan too and it picked up some more stuff. It was a lot of work but doable (but I also studied CS in college). It took me probably about 12 hours to clean everything.

you ask your hosting provider to scan your Cpanl .. and check the log files.. you can see some files with malware.

first, deactivate the plugin and change your password. later investigate infected files

first, scan your cpanel - try to check the index file. and check the codes.. before that take the back up

@@techmarvel. Thank you for the reply. After intense searching on google and youtube, I was able to identify which files were injected with malware and I was able to finally get rid of them. The site is now clean and never had another popup again.

George is 100% right. The sole purpose for the blocking control is to control what to allow on your site. It is meant for to block competition, inappropiate ads for particular audience for example children safety, unwanted ads for example you don't want to show meat type of ads on your vegetarian site etc. By blocking networks you are destroying competition and ad offers. If your site has low CPC, 9 out 10 it's the quality of your content. Don't believe me? Here is what Google said in the UA-cam video 'Lesson 1.3: Allowing and blocking ads': "Allowing all ads, creates the most competition in the auction for units, which produces the most revenue for your ads. Keep in mind that the ads you see on your screen are not necessarily the same ones the your users will see, as ads are served up on our user by user basis."

Hello, if you have VPS server you can do it .. if you are in shared servers request your hosting provider to scan it. One more method you have is the Wordfence plugin. after scanning just deactivate it will delay in loading websites.

Don't worry .. just ask your Hosting provider to scan your file manager - Check the htaccess file - Index file These two direct the website on what to do .. the malware probably hiding in this file .. check the recent changes of the file. write it down the time of attack and check the 3 hours previous changes in home html file ..

most of the files has impacted by malware. Ask your hosting provider to scan your file manager. after that check, one by one.. remove the infected files. before deleting any files or codes make sure with codes used in Git Hub and your website is the same. cross check if anything is added extra then carefully delete and take the backup before you do anything.
