Just a first generation farmer sharing my story. There is so much to learn in the world of gardening. Let’s get back to the basics and simplicity of life. I hope that you enjoy this channel and will subscribe.
End of the season
The garden season is just about over. There are a few tomatoes and peppers left in the tunnel. Even though the frost has come and the garden seasons over, we still have lots to do.

Eating a red naga brain from the garden
Переглядів 35Місяць тому
Here’s the full video of me eating a red naga brain grown. That we grew ourselves!!! We had these plants in our plant room back in February so I’m very excited to finally be getting some ripe super hots. Don’t mind me trying to bully Nathan into trying it 🤪 I just didn’t want him to miss out on the fun. I’m gona rate this one 8 outta 10. A ten for me being the death spiral I ate last summer. #g...

Market and garden update
Переглядів 323 місяці тому
It’s my first year selling at the market and what an experience. This summer has been a slow one for produce but things are finally getting a little more productive around here. Look at the peppers with me and check out the back garden. #beggining #garden #hightunnel #growpeppers #flowers #superhots #inventory #nwmt #gardening #montana #update #farmersmarket

Prunning
Переглядів 224 місяці тому
The peppers have a ton of new growth. It’s been cooler the last couple days but the warmer days have helped all the plants start to slowly take off. Also forgive my lack of articulation..sorta seems like I’m learning how to talk for the first time 😂 Thank you for watching. 2024 plant count
Переглядів 844 місяці тому
Now that most everything is in the ground. Here is a count of all that we have planted. All of the plants were started from seed (minus a handful because I can’t help myself when I see plants for sale). Excuse my pronunciation on some things. Over all everything’s looking good. Looking back we should have been more gradual when taking the peppers out of the plant room. Because we just threw the...

Hey friend, sub #240 here, like #3!
We're excited too!❤❤❤❤
Year two is going to be a good one 🤗
Great video! very informative too, and love how you get the little lad involved too ^_^ i find it really beneficial for breeding to have a 2 tier system :) similar to you however, stacked :D especially for breeding purposes! i cut a hole in the bottom of one tub (the one that will house the beetles) and then hot glue some mesh to the bottom to stop the beetles escaping. Then, for the second tub , on the lid cut out the same sized hole from the beetles tub and connect it to the bottom of the first tub with either hot glue or any other safe adhesive, and that way allowing any eggs laid to fall down to the container bellow which houses the mealworms and pupa :) perfect to keep them from getting eaten by the beetles later on, all you really have to do is occasionally check for pupa in with the meal worms and then add them to a compartment within the beetle tub, that way once they pupate they will walk off and into the population of beetles :D (obviously making sure that the pupa are far enough away from the beetles but not too far so they can walk off when the evolve :) so far its working absolutely amazing for me, and hope this may help for you to not have to buy the mealworms anymore and have great success with all stages <3
Dang, a two tier system? that is a super good idea! Thank you for sharing! Sounds like it would make the process a lot easier!
Good job. Those are evil peppers.
Thanks..it definitely scared me straight 😂
Homemade Kombucha does taste a lot better and not as strong as store bought.
It really does! I’m so excited to save money and improve my gut health
Have you ever made apple cider vinegar? It's three ingredients and so easy to make. Similar to kombucha. @@farnorthfarmmt8285
