Joby is not quieter than Lilium, nor is it faster. This analyst is laughable.

*This is a joke.* Shes got Joby as being quieter with open propeller blades which are 4x as large as Liliums ducted jets which are far superior to decibel levels. Joby is NOT quieter than Lilium. Shes also laughably citing Joby as "<200mph" in cruising speed while attempting to say Lilium is only 155mph which is patently false on both accounts. This is not an eVTOL expert, its a Joby lobbyist masquerading as an authority figure. Nice try at lying to your audience.

Typically price associated with initial production (LIRP) of a new aircraft program is higher however, as both cost savings are implemented - from improvements in efficiencies and productivity -plus the benefit of amortization of start up program costs spread over a larger volume of product, unit prices (sans discounts) tend to drop not rise. Discounts also tend to reduce, in percentage terms with time. Net prices though, roughly remain in lock-step with core inflation, as OEMs seek to exercise some measure of price stability by placing tight focus upon those major contributors to profitability which they have control over.
