Melanie Hiscock as Mandy Freemont - all of her 1989 Grange Hill scenes
Dodie is so cute! Dawn Lyn really played that part well!
Sorry to all - a very old VHS tape of a rerun that i recieved in trade - the later seasons have not been remastered let alone on DVD/blu-ray.
I love this show.
Dodie being written for by an all-male writing team doesn't help.
Nerdy, polite, well-spoken, gorgeous and as tall as the male characters. 😍😍😍 22:30 Never force a Scotsman to shell out
Most women would LOVE time off. Script written by men.
This is Mandy Freemont is played by Melanie Hiscock on Grange Hill in 1989 is series 12 is now 35 previous years ago when I was aged 12 to 13 years old. I think 🤔 that Mandy Freemont looks ugly with her face wearing glasses 🤓. The only year character Mandy Freemont was on Grange Hill is in 1989. I honestly remember the year 1989. WOW 😯, doesn’t time 🕰️ fly 🪰 quickly. Life is short. If Melanie Hiscock is alive at present 💝 believe it or not and she approaches me, I’ll walk 🚶♀️ away and it would serve her right. I think 🤔 Mandy Freemont might have replaced Jane Bishop who left Grange Hill in 1988 is series 11. Joann Kelly played Jane Bishop on Grange Hill from 1985 to 1988 is series 8 to 11 was so miserable 😭. Perhaps 🤔 it serves character Jane Bishop right. Now it’s the year 2024, the next 5 years will come and go quickly into the year 2029. By 2029, the year 1989 will be aged 40 years old. If actor Melanie Hiscock is alive today, she must be aged 50 years old if she is born in 1974. Perhaps 🤔 people should feel sorry 😞 for poor Mandy Freemont is because she probably feels upset 😢. At present 💝 in the year 2024, I still have a long term memory, however it could be reduced to a short term memory. I remembered Luke Gonch Gardner played by John Holmes. I like Mr Craig McKenzie played by Nicholas Donnelly who died in January 2022 or 2023. It’s the theme 2 of Grange Hill in 1989. 👍
❤😂❤❤❤❤
Dodie versus Ashley Johnson's Chrissy Seaver: like asking what tooth do you want pulled without anesthesia?
Dodie is worse.
Allopathic hacks, doctors ( MD's) had the general public bamboozled into believing that the human body came with disposable worthless parts, like, God or Nature didn't know what they were doing when they gave out tonsils, like, they're just there for no reason, and if we get an infection in our finger, we don't have our finger removed, how about that!
I absolutely love this show. I miss these kind of shows. On TV now of these days does not have these now.
Great show ontv for nice 60and70 Wow
Mythreeson Isa Cute little show wow
Love it
Wow
Great show
the color in this is very washed out
Funny episode, but video was blurry and too many commercials.
That's a scary doll. It might have given me nightmares. Was it really Dawn's doll or did they just use it for the show?
I remember watching this episode very well when it first came out.
Great family
Dodie❤
The picture quality is awful!
As i say upthread - A very old VHS tape of a rerun - the later seasons have not been remastered let alone on DVD/blu-ray. I worked with what i had.
15 years old actually 😊
Dodie was so cute.
I remember her
I always thought Dodie was obnoxious.
Today Doodie slipped into a coma as the result of a brain tumor. November 1, 2022 . My she heal and her health begin to improve. In Jesus Christ name!
At last count, she's making positive progress in her recovery from surgery as those antibiotics have done their job and helped Dawn overcome her bacterial infection. When Dawn is released from the hospital, maybe MeTV can invite both her and Susan Olsen for a block of both My Three Sons and The Brady Bunch with similar scenes, such as "Came the Day"/"The Honeymoon", "TV Triplets"/"And Now, a Word from Our Sponsor", "Barbara Lost"/"Getting Davy Jones", "It's a Woman's World"/"Eenie, Meenie, Mommy, Daddy" and "Tramp or Ernie"/"Katchoo", something along those lines!!!
🙏
I'm trying to figure out who Dodie was...I don't remember her when I watched this show as a kid
I absolutely LOVE these episodes with Barbara and Dodie 🧡💜🧡💜🧡💜
Dawn Lyn's brother is Leif Garrett.
16:47 - It's good to see Ann McCrea. She didn't have a lot of roles after The Donna Reed Show ended in 1966. She appeared on My Three Sons three times. The first was in September, 1967 when Steve returned to his hometown - which was also the last time Mike was ever mentioned as his oldest son on the show. This was her second appearance in the Fall of 1969.
Wow! Thanks for sharing. I love knowing detail like that. 😊
Boy wasn't Dodie smart??x
Dodie and Polly sucked on the show
Yeah it wasn't that great with them
Putting Dodie on the show was the worst thing to happen; well that and the whole Fergus fiasco.
Yes indeed
Yes, the Fergus episodes were unwatchable. Terrible.
For 3 years, namely the early 1970's, we drew comparisons between My Three Sons and The Brady Bunch- of course, Maureen McCormick appeared on both shows. The difference is My Three Sons aired Saturday nights with The Mary Tyler Moore Show on CBS, while The Brady Bunch aired on ABC, Friday nights, the same night as The Partridge Family!!!
My Three Sons was on way before the Brady Bunch.
@@moemcgovern7345 9 years longer and 7 years on CBS. We can put My Three Sons in the same conversation with other TV family sitcoms of the 1970's, like Happy Days, The Partridge Family, The Brady Bunch, The Mary Tyler Moore Show, etc.!!!
Ugh, Dodie. They should have "accidentally" given her an overdose of gas.
Lol
The early seasons were the best before it became cringworthy.
In what way did it become cringeworthy?..just curious because I don't remember them having a kid when I watched it as a kid. Don't even remember him getting married
@@mexxicokitty well it's the internet everyone's a critic 😫😂
I can't stand the early seasons. My faves are Season 8 till the end.
Doll looks like Dotie
I like Barbara
When I was younger I really hated it when Steve got married and I thought Dody was annoying..as an adult looking at these it’s not so bad but I still prefer the old episodes with Bub...when uncle charley came on board, and poor Mike who never even came back for his brothers or fathers wedding... I liked Katie, Polly was a pain and ( Dodie and Barbara made the show do a shark jump🤦🏽♀️)
i loved katie disliked pollie and her mother from i love lucy and the lucy show and i hated her father..... katie was on a b&w episode with a different name!!
@@thestones8022 Yes, she was on at least 2 of the older episodes…one when she and Ernie sabotaged the Douglas’ house to keep it from being sold and another in which she was Robbie’s girlfriend and they babysat a friends infant while the parents went out of town. The writers also had the same scenario when Polly helped Chip keep the triplets.
Barbara was great, Dodi was not good, too annoying.
Thanks for sharing.
The show has got even better since Katie and Barbra came on.,....
I thought so!
Yes, they were the best, along with Uncle Charlie.
Thanks so much !!! I just love the latest seasons of my 3 sons with Katie and Barbara The best of the best!!! 😁👍💕
I couldn't agree more thank you Time Travel for the fabulous memories. Best wishes from Australia
Steve was great with the women and the children. The older boys were great with them too.
I really didn't care for Barbara & Dodie. Really wasn't a fan of Katie's either. The show lost the plot .
I guess you never seen two part families .I had a step gather and a half brother shame on you
@@peggywelty5139 Shame on YOU and every liberal who doesn't allow people to have opinions. How many masks are you wearing anyway?
I know I liked it better when it was a show about a gay couple raising three boys replacing the older ones with younger ones as it went, went along
She had that whole "sexy librarian" thing going on - with those glasses. She looked beautiful with or without the glasses. She ending up being Gonch's girlfriend. The actress who played her, appeared in one episode of "Lovejoy" and I saw an interview where she said that she living now in Israel. She is not acting anymore.
She lived on my street growing up, and she was 😍
@@denzalwash4120 Wow. Was that before or after she got the gig on "Grange Hill"?
@@alphabetaxenonzzzcat before and after, I fancied her big time but was about 5/6yrs younger 😂
My god, did this beauty mess with my teenage hormones. lol. Our very own 'She's All That' girl. And that voice... :O Thanks for the wonderful reminder. It kind of makes sense why I like Jennifer Lawrence so much now. :)
