I have the S version, bought it before it was phased out. Using it for EDC and I really miss the scissors. I plan to purchase the L, and remove the saw and pliers. This will make it smaller than M and have tools that I use most of the time. But this will be a very expensive mod to do. Still have no experience with the compact combo tool yet. But a future mod is to remove the opener layer and just use the combo tool to further slim this down to one more layer. But I need to experience the combo tool first as I read poor reviews about it in consensus. Also enjoy using the small blade for general purpose use and leave the large blade for food use.

I really want to build a hybrid out of the Cybertool S and the Compact. The Screwdriver and the Bits, combined with the scissors and the combo-tool (Cap Lifter) plus one Blade sounds perfect for me.

Thanks for the video. Are the blades on the Swissrtool and Swisstool MX different in size? On the Spirit X and MX versions, the MX blade is 4mm shorter. Plus the pin at the base eats up 5mm of useful blade length.

They really just need a "create your own tool" option. It looks too WIDE and just uncomfortable to use.

Got my hands on it in Luzern last week.. very very very temped to buy it, but was disappointed only the knive was damast steel. Bought another knive in the (beautiful) store there. If the knive would have been red, it would make buying it easier for me. Victorinox for me is a red knive, or the aluminum ones.

No brainer. No problem. HUNTSMAN. It has more functionality in format ratio. It can change scales over time for renewal or customization and add. pen, sewing nail ecc... but also it can be used to cut live electric wires to make emergency disconnections since plastic scales offer a bare minimum insulation. Moreover some colors such as red yellow ecc... are easy to eyeball to catch it if it goes lost in the working area. And slides easy in pockets. It has a very useful corkscrew, corkscrew can also accomodate other options ( the tiny glass screwdriver but also the ferrorod + starter) It costs a lot less than a farmer X because its industrial history is more successful prooven in millions of pieces. It is an overdone product. Farmer has no real place in this size. Also lot of farmer's components are actually mounted in the SwisstoolX and that is a different story.

Couteau que j'ai acheté en 2010 utilisé pendant 13 ans en edc au travail pour l'exploitation d'un grand établissement recevant du public, le philips en ligne m'a sauvé 1000 fois la vie, le tournevis plat aussi et la lampe dans les sous sols techniques était fort pratique. Je ne l'utilise plus comme edc ayant changé d'emploi mais je le garde pour tous les souvenirs il a une valeur sentimentale au delà de sa valeur pécuniaire

Good video. I have the CBT Lite. I like it because it has an "in-line" light, which is very good when using the driver in dark places, like certain areas in computer boxes Also, the magnifying glass, being a Victorinox, is not a toy and is very useful to read small labels,.

Ce n'est pas du vrai damas c'est un damasteel industriel rien à voir avec un vrai damas forgé.

I don't understand why everybody says this knife isn't for actual use. Yes it is. It just isn't for every day carry use. You put this in a hiking backpack or in your camping gear or have it easily accessible around the house or when you are touring or exploring some new place, you put it in a belt pouch. Then, you purchase a smaller knife, such as the swiss champ (not the XXL or XAVT), for every day carry.

J'ai trouvé un Hiker quasi-fossilisé dans un tiroir, je l'ai réstauré, maintenant il brille comme un sou neuf et grâce à cette vidéo je sais que c'est pas une douille !
