Hello! Thanks for that really important (to us, anyway) question. I got the SI (sacroiliac) cushion for my Trike at Walmart where the car/automotive supplies are. It is super squishy, but with some support. I purchased the lumbar cushion on Amazon. If you read the description of the "Autumn Ride Adventures" video, *️⃣I have included the links there for you...I use a different (Amazon) SI cushion for my car and for my desk chair. The Amazon SI cushion is lovely, but a lot firmer. It has a side handle so I can carry it to Dr. appointments, restaurants, etc. We love the extra padding in the seats and lumbar support on our trikes, especially on long rides! Thanks for watching and your question! It's a SunSeeker CSX Fat Tad from Utah Trikes. We were able to start with their basic Fat Tad and make our modifications in the order. Trike arrived within 2 weeks. You can change the color, and that will add some time to the process. I got the stock color with is beautiful. If you watch the "My Story" video, it gives you some info. One thing that was so important to us was the suspension that comes on these trikes at a reasonable price...at least compared to other trikes. We also wanted the Fat Tads, because we live on country dirt/gravel roads, and also want to ride in the snow/ice this winter. Blessings, GG

I hear you! Here in CO, we have many sunny days in the winter, between storms. We can usually get a few rides in on those days. Hi, Bob! Hey, I just checked and Amazon says they are no longer available. The brand was, "Bike Route 67". I also checked their Ebay store and they had a photo, but they were listed as not available. Gary has the Royalfair waterproof front handlebar bag, and it looks like Amazon has those in stock. He has used his over a year and they have held up well. He has the same trike, so these may fit. We modified the straps and used velcro to attach to our bike frames in the area just under the seat cushion. You have some color options including black. Cherry Creek Trail....it runs from Franktown, CO all the way up to Denver, about 45 miles or so We like the areas that have more trees. It is really well kept and almost all paved. Thanks for watching! Blessings, GG

We use Arcshell 5 walkie talkies and they are AWESOME! Please watch my video on "Trike Talkin--My Favorite Communications Gear" where I talk about them in depth! The thumbnail has the little kid on the big wheel. They are wonderful on the trial and more. You can do this! Just experiment and see what set ups and gear you like the best. As you can see, it is always a "work in progress"....GG

That's really sad that you have a rail trail, but do not have good access to it. We are looking at riding the Mickelson Rail Trail in the Black Hills soon...it is well maintained and I have never seen any ATVs on it. Don't think they allow anything motorized, except for e-bikes/trikes which are allowed on it...of course pedestrians, etc are as well...and possibly horses. They have volunteers on bikes called the "Trail Patrol" that monitor such things as well as safety issues or if anyone is in distress. Love that. Very well organized and run. --GG

They have just decimated the few yard plants we had this year, and it's a challenge to walk on our driveway or paths to get to the car! My son just stopped by, and after some time, I noticed a big one just sitting on his shoulder...he hitchhiked inside the house. Do you know where we could rent some chickens? (Just kidding, LOL)--GG

How do u like the Fat Tads?

We LOVE them. My husband waited a long time to get his, as he was always a 2 wheel purist...my term. When we found one here locally he purchased it and now he is a believer! We ride these on dirt roads often, and LOVE that suspension. The fat tires do great off road (watch out for the goat heads...) and also we started riding in the snow last year. They do really well. Cherry Creek Trail! Some really pretty areas, and some areas of the Cherry Creek trail are more out in the wide open spaces without trees. Hi, Don & Ruth Ann! Great timing for your trip! Depends where in Colorado you will be visiting. Northern Colorado, the Front Range Foothills, the Western Slope, the High Mountains, and the Southern Mountain ranges all vary slightly, but generally Mid to late Sept. and some areas into early October. There are many websites that will give you maps for the best times to see the leaves change depending on the geographical area, if you can do an internet search. You probably know, our weather can change here quickly, so build in extra time for that if you can. --GG

You are correct! If it is a really windy day, as we have often here in this area of the Rocky Mountains, we may change the position of the shoulder mic. It has not happened often, but if the wind begins to interfere with our radio transmissions, then we reposition as necessary on our trike, or even to our clothing in the neck area somewhere. This works fine for us. Good point!--GG
