What holster is that??
Desntis in or outside the waistband. Fits nicely except the mag pouch. The mag will drop out if you do cartwheels. Thanks for watching!!!
What optic are you running ?
50$ academy Simmons from about 8 yrs ago. Had it laying around.
If you must use a 223 rem. Id recommend, a heavy nosler partition, or copper barnes tsx or hornady gmx. You need penetration, and expansion. I think the hp 75 will over expand.
Thanks for watching. I have had that thought as well. I don’t want it to explode into tiny pieces on impact.
Why not just get an upper of a more suitable cartridge, or a rifle chambered with a cartridge suited for deer?
Just want to switch things up a bit. Thanks for watching!!!
So, as soon as I got my G3C I replaced the recoil spring and polished the feed ramp and made sure there was no “ledge” transition into barrel. Cleaned gun really well and lubricated. Shot about 300 rounds of Maxxtrxh FMJ and then a clip of Federal HST +P. Ran everything just fine.
Thanks for watching. It’s a great little piece for the money!!! I’ve only had one failure to feed but bumped into battery and kept shooting.
Yeah comon
Make it happen!!!
Steak looks amazing! Gordon Ramsay would be impressed!
Thanks. They were tasty.
She's having fun, learning and making mmories.
Looks delicious!
Daddy daughter quality time!
One of the best sub $700 AR-15's for the money. Wasn't designed as a hunting rifle, there are far better choices. But as an occasional range gun and home protection, the Diamondback DB15 will suffice.
Thanks for watching. I picked it up on sale for less than $500. Just wanted to try it. My favorite for deer is 30-06. 👍
I've seen quite a few complaints about the G3c not feeding hollow points. The Taurus chambers tend to run a bit tight, but I haven't had any issues with mine. Your video reinforces that point. On a safety note, watch your trigger finger when you're not on target. The moment your sights come off target, your finger should be on the reference point on the frame.
Deer season to me means Tikka T3 in .308
@@jolkraeremeark6949 I got an old tried and true friend as well. I just want to spice things up a bit. Thanks for watching. It’s almost impossible to beat the T3.
Speer 223 Gold Dot 75 grain Bonded soft point
Sounds good. I’ll pick some up. Hope they’re not too expensive. I thought about boattails. They would tumble. Thanks for watching.
Love it😂
I’ve seen people complaining about the hollow point thing, I don’t even get it? Have 3 different G3 series and I’ve never shot 500 rounds through any of them but they all shoot HP’s just fine. I just think there’s quite a few idiots out there!
Love mine. Just cook at home a week and it’s paid for. Just one hiccup with some off brand crap ammo. Bumped the slide and kept running.
Where are the smores for the fire ?
No s’mores. We had steaks! Saving s’mores for the winter edition 👍
@@OutDoorsModeratorlooking forward to seeing it!
Others are finding the G3C shoots low with 115 and 124 but likes and shoots right on with 147
Thanks! I will get me some and try it out.
I’m guessing a DB 15?
Yep. Broke my finger so it has to sit in the box for a bit. Thanks for watching!!!
I tell you my final thoughts on the G3 TORO . It’s awesome shoots amazing groups. Enough said
Thanks for watching and commenting.
I love pickled okra but never made my own. I might do this soon ,looked simple. Thanks
Easy peasie. Do it. Just remember to clean everything and rapid boil the produce for 15 minutes. The next day the lids will compress. If they don’t you will need to refrigerate and eat within two weeks. Enjoy.
Thanks of that hollow point sacrifice test. Now I have to do the same test in the OEM 18 round mag with sleeve.
Thanks for watching. I did need to see if it would run. I think I’m good to go for edc.
Are you complaining about the heat bro...so what would you prefer winter all year long?
No thanks. Maybe a little less humidity. 👍 I couldn’t grow my groceries as easy if it were winter.
@@OutDoorsModerator oki doki bro..in Jamaica 🇯🇲 we have summer all year long and is grateful.
Comment if you need more information.
I hope you were shooting at targets and not the dirt 😂
Yes. I had the camera too close to the targets.
Why?
Was a lot of fun testing these out with you!
Thanks. It was fun. Think the half priced Ruger won.
Keeping that Weiss Lake fish population in check 👌 👏
Nice catch!
Great gun, just in the wrong hands… y is the second guy handling it like it’s a rifle??
He is from Australia. Doesn’t get to shoot any firearms.
The guy is using a Weaver grip and stance. It was very popular about 40 years ago but has mostly been replaced by the Isoceles stance.
What ammo are you using? Lots of smoke. I have a G3C and never seen that much smoke before.
Monarch value 115 fmj. Cheapest available. Going to post some various self defense rounds next week. I saw a lot of people complaining about feed issues, and I’m going to test mine.
nice harvest!
Thanks for watching. Sure saves at the grocery store.
great firearm for the price both of mine always feed and go bang
Thanks for watching. Much better deal than a couple bags from the WalMart.
Both my TAURUS G3 and G3C shoot low unless I center hold and also put the front sight dot high above the rear so that i can just about see the bottom of the front sight top of gun. Then its accurate strange that the factory sights are like that.
Thanks for the input. I will try that out.
It's probably a combination of grip and ammo. Try shooting it from a rest and see what you get. Every gun seems to have a preference for specific loads for best accuracy.
Nice bro
Thanks
Hot water bath for 35 minutes at a solid boil to seal the jars.
Adjust ur site placement! Could also be your ammo spin depending on barreling...
I was shooting the cheapest ammo available.
Dremel the top of the RS down a little
Think I’m gonna put some Glock sites on it. Thanks for watching!!!
@@OutDoorsModerator only do the ameriglo FRT sights on them or set of ameriglo cap sights but can always leave the oem rear can add white/glow dots or notch if needed, now if the G3C fits MP9 3.6/G29/G30 holsters have tlr7 options possible tlr6 G27 (G19 tlr6’s only fit G2/3C )as well but G3C closer to the MP3.6 as the G3 fits SD9VE which fits 4/5in MP9 tlr1/7 holsters
I shoot my other 9 mm pistols and dont have this problem. of hitting low.
After shooting more rounds, it was just getting used to the trigger.
HELLO what sight picture/ hold are you using. 6 o'clock? center? 12? my g3c hits dead center but shoots low . have heard its the gun, but to me if you aim correctly hold the gun correctly and trigger correctly. it should hit where u aim it. n
I hold center. Think I was adjusting to the trigger. Had been shooting a Canik.
Thanks for watching!!!
@@OutDoorsModerator yes I use center hold as well, have even tried 12 o'clock. I have the TAURUS TH9 and very accurate with it. Have a p365 xl and just wow sweet shooting. I think its the trigger pull and the size difference , Even try a little Kentucky windage and still low. must be dipping the nose trigger control.
@@OutDoorsModerator haven't shot it a lot yet half to try again ....see can improve with it
@user-ex4rd7hv4m Any number of reasons for hitting low. I use a combat hold on all my 9mm sub and micro compacts and wherever I put the front sight dot is where the round will impact. These are close range defense pistols so hitting slightly low is not going to matter. All guns have a factory zero and that is highly dependent on the ammo the factory was using. Most US and Latin American made 9mms are going to be zeroed with 115gr. FMJ/ball while most European made 9mms are going to be zeroed with 124gr. NATO FMJ/ball. So you get accuracy shift using heavy and light for caliber bullets. Add shooter error and rounds will impact left or low or both off hand shooting because the gun is being moved when the trigger is pulled. Hold the gun really tight, point the gun at the target, and pull the trigger WITHOUT MOVING the gun. Shoot the pistol from a rest so the gun is still and not moving using different ammo and then find the best ammo for its shot placement. Sights really don't have to be replaced or adjusted unless the low impact shift is drastic and consistently the same over all kinds of ammo. If that is the case then the front sight can be lowered or if the impact is high raised. Rear sights are drift adjustable for windage.
Damn bro your right toe good?
Haha. It’s a hereditary thing. I don’t fix it if it ain’t broke.
@@OutDoorsModeratorlol
Can I get some cabbage and green beens?
You know it.
How many rounds thru the Taurus at this point??Any problems?
500+. One round failed to seat. Just bumped the slide and she kept feeding. I’m sure it was the ultra cheap ammo.
It was delicious and Made your granny's day.
