Is this place in Kiribati? Are there apartments with kitchen & bathroom for long duration (3-4month) stay? How much it can cost on monthly basis?
@@dramolbhosale I’m sorry that is in Queensland, Australia. I did introduced it at the beginning of the film. I live here and sometimes in Kiribati so my contents are both in two countries. As for accommodation, it’s best to stay at the motel and look around for a place. Some motels do rent out for longer stays and at a reduced rate. Most rentals are houses, not many apartments. All with kitchen and bathroom. There are not many rental properties and the rate varies but not expensive. Cheers

This world is contaminated by satan. There is a better place for us prepared by God. God will destroy this world like in the days of Noah because of disobedience but this time is the world destruction by fire and brimstone like in sodom and gomorrah. Please leave worldly things and worldly desires because that is what makes people evil. Cleanse our hearts through our Lord Jesus Christ because God looks at what is in our hearts. May the love and compassion reign in our hearts for fellow human being around the world and above all Love to our Almighty God with all our hearts, with all our minds, with all our souls and with all our strengths. The leaders of all nations must godly with fears and respects to the Almighty God, because obedience to the Almighty God always brings blessings. God’s warn us that the anti-Christ people are being united to revive the prideful and wicked babylon using barbaric people to implement the mark of the beast/666 so that all people will fall into hell, that's what satan wants. The evil spirit of anti-Christ reigns in their hearts forcing the people to accept the mark of the beast/666. ua-cam.com/users/shortsOwPkfQbE3sU They want the people to reject the truth which is the gift of God, no one else the Son of God our Lord Jesus Christ our savior and redeemer. Almost all the people are rejecting the gift of God, that's why they have no peace. Our Lord Jesus Christ is a Prince of Peace. Our disobedience to God is what keeps us away from Him. The pride attitude that we followed from lucifer will lead us to destruction in hell, that's what satan wants, he can take us to hell. In God's great love, He sacrificed His only Son the payment for our sins. We can never come to God the Father without God the Son to cleanse us. Lord Jesus Christ is our purifier through His precious blood. Our Lord Jesus Christ is in a hurry. He is coming. It's good to be always prepared for what’s coming. It's even more scary if we die without having accepted the Lord Jesus into our hearts and not repenting. Surely we are like the souls in hell who want to return to this world even for a few minutes to repent but there is no hope for them because they ignore God's warnings and corrections. As long as we are alive, we need to repent and wholeheartedly accept and believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. Don't wait for tomorrow, we don't know, maybe sudden death will happen to us and we won't be able to repent. 🙏❤❤❤❤❤❤❤LORD JESUS CHRIST IS COMING....... REPENT!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤🙏 Be prepared always! The infinite power of our Almighty God create everything. He create our needs like foods, air we breath and others, even our knowledge is from Him but mankind praising and worshipping other gods, worldly things and worldly desires. We so lack in serving GOD but we are still loved. His great love for us is not reciprocated by us, even to thanks Him is nothing. Through His great love to us, He still give a gift of salvation so that we are not fall in hell. Man-made religions are corrupted and contaminated by satan. To communicate God is through prayer but we need to know first this John 4:24 “God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.” Our Lord Jesus Christ is the truth. John 14:6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” We must accept our Lord Jesus Christ with all our hearts and repent, cry hard to our wrong doing and ask forgiveness wholeheartedly. Acts 2:38 Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.” 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 “ Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.” Our body is a true temple/church of God. The Holy Spirit is God, He live in our body through repent and accept our Lord Jesus wholeheartedly. We can pray and communicate the true living God. Philippians 2:9-11 "Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." John 3:36 “Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on them.” Zephaniah 1:14-18 "The great day of the Lord is near, near and hastening fast; the sound of the day of the Lord is bitter; the mighty man cries aloud there. A day of wrath is that day, a day of distress and anguish, a day of ruin and devastation, a day of darkness and gloom, a day of clouds and thick darkness, a day of trumpet blast and battle cry against the fortified cities and against the lofty battlements. I will bring distress on mankind, so that they shall walk like the blind, because they have sinned against the Lord; their blood shall be poured out like dust, and their flesh like dung. Neither their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them on the day of the wrath of the Lord. In the fire of his jealousy, all the earth shall be consumed; for a full and sudden end he will make of all the inhabitants of the earth." The anti-Christ people are being united to revive the prideful and evil babylon using barbaric people to implement the mark of the beast/666 to fall all mankind in hell, that's satan wants. A lot has been changed .....i visited Kiribati in 2005 and spend over 4 months .......Still have great memories of the Place.....🥰🥰😃
nice country i love it
Why is Tanaea all but abandoned while Betio is so crowded?
Good question. I do wonder too why it’s abandoned; landowners dispute or a big project on the pipeline?!
Thank you so much for this! My daughter lives in Bikenibeu right now but travels to Abaokoro almost every week. She sent a pic of the pharmacy in the Bairiki supermall last week. You offered the first good view of Ocean Family I've seen.
Hello. Glad you enjoyed the video. I hope your daughter is enjoying her stay in Tarawa. Cheers
I'm from Cape Town South Africa and my Great Great Grandfather was from Kiribati 🇰🇮 I've never been there but hope to visit one day
Hello. Interesting, I wonder if you know his family back in Kiribati and which island he comes from. Hope you do get to travel there and find your connections. Cheers!
Wow small world huh?
Hello! I loved your video! But I would like to know, in your opinion, what is the most iconic place/image in the capital (South Tarawa)? I'm doing research and needed to know which part of the city is most representative. For example, in Paris, we have the Eiffel Tower, in Rio de Janeiro, the Corcovado, with Christ the Redeemers. What would be the meaningful equivalent of South Tarawa?
Hello. The most iconic place or images on South Tarawa are the remnants of the World War II or the Battle of Tarawa. The newest landmark would be the Betio to Bairiki causeway or Dai Nippon Causeway built by the Japanese. Cheers!
When is the canoe racing event happening on the beautiful island?
Mauri. The canoe racing event is usually on Kiribati Independence Anniversary holiday week in July. Cheers

Hello , im happy to be your number 374, Thanks for sharing your life there, I hope you can visit my place too., Watching from Philippines ❤
I miss the sounds of the children calling out "I-Matang, I-Matang!" as you walk through villages, especially on the outer islands. Mosquitos at night, flies and Red Ants by day I remember well! I used to laugh at the I-Matangs swimming at the beach on Betio, just around the corner villagers were conducting "toilet" ablutions on the sand! My how the airport has changed, it was very basic in my time. Ko raba, another great video to stir old memories this way!
Oh well, you know Kiribati very well haha. Yes, Imatangs are still popular and the kids love to practice their English when seeing them. The beach thing is still an ongoing problem even when announced on the radio that it’s not allowed. There is a newer and quite serious problem on Tarawa and it’s the dog’s population. You have to watch your steps during the day and sometimes at night your sleep is disturbed with the dog on heat …. Anyway, the people are still smiling and happy so all is good. Thanks for the chat. Cheers
Mauri...Looks like the old MOANAROI that used to go to Canton and Christmas Island years ago at 1:49 ship to the far left. Betio was crowded and very dirty (rubbish everywhere, plastic bags should be banned in Kiribati like in parts of Australia)) when I was there, I remember the Seamens Club and Paradise Club, my friend Hang Kum-Kee owned that and his brother George owned the Betio Hotel. I wonder if Cliff Farr still has the Yamaha agency and Paul McClaughlin the Betio Hardware shop? Used to play squash in a former Japanese war bunker at MTC. Still remember the Toddy Cutters doing the morning and afternoon cut singing as they went, I used to love some sour Toddy and also Kamaimai too. In the early 1980's film night in the local Maneaba was always fun. Sad to see the Otintaai Hotel falling on hard times, is the Ambo Lagoon Club still going?...My favourite places were Abemama, Banaba, Little Makin and Abaiang...ko raba for the memories Kiribati Gardener.😎
Mauri. You may be right re Moanaraoi. There are two rubbish removals now; the Council and the Green Bag that goes around collecting rubbish every week if their trucks work. I think they still need to educate the public of which is rubbish as they pile up the roadside with green waste too. The recycling has helped a little bit with the rubbish as people are into recycling to make money. Yes, unless they banned plastic bags, the problem remains. The Seaman’s Club still operates. Not sure about the Lagoon club, I think it only the maneaba there. I think Cliff Farr Yamaha store still open but the Betio hardware is now owned by King Kum Kee. We missed the Otintaai Hotel too. You said, you were there in the 80’s, what year? My husband is interested because he taught at KGV/EBS 1981-1989. His name is Dave Sandford. Thanks for your interest. Cheers
@@temwaiku I see the "Dave Sandford" maneaba during your video. I think Hang Kum-Kee would have passed on by now. Ambo Lagoon Club was an expatriate club and I-Kiribati of "social standing" were also members. In Australia recyling is promoted by paying 10 cents on each drink and beer can returned to an "automated receival centre" so you never see cans laying about as children collect them. I was in/out of Kiribati between 1983-2000, spent a lot of my time in Majuro and Nauru too. Remember the girls heading to school in their blue and white uniforms looking very smart. Nikon-Boon was another club back in the time also the "Betio Club" at the start of the causeway, lot of fights used to happen there in public service pay weeks. So what happened to the Otintaai Hotel? Poor management, increased competition?, maybe the Chinese or Japanese will buy it, they are taking over everything elsewhere.
Kona Mauri...So what happened to the Bank of Kiribati which was run in association with Westpac? Also TSKL (Telecom Services Kiribati limited)? Bairiki has changed since I was last there in 2000, wonder if the Bairiki Club is still going? The islet you mention was Bikeman Island, off where the Betio-Bairiki causeway is today. Hope you do a tour of Betio, it was over crowded and dirty, probably worse now? My friend Hang Kum-Kee ran the Paradise Club on Betio and George, Hang's brother had the Betio Hotel. Best part of Tarawa is North Tarawa, old style village life! Koraba
Mauri naba. It’s still the same bank but the name is changed to ANZ. TSKL is now Vodafone and I believe there is another provider called Oceanlink. Lately, starlink is now available and proved to be the best for internet connection. Bairiki Club has long gone since early 90s or before (not quite sure, a long time ago). It’s now an empty space with market stalls. Correct, I meant Bikemaan which is now a sandbank or just a beach with no green life. The Paradise building is there but I think it’s used for other purposes. Not sure if the old Betio Motel is still operating but the same family have opened another motel towards Temakin which I think is called Betio Motel too. North Tarawa is doing a good job keeping the South Tarawa .. away by not building a causeway to link Buota and Abatao and the rest so it maintains its rural lifestyle. I did a little bit of Betio on one of my latest video. Thank you for your interest and suggestion, I will try and make more indepth videos of Betio and others next time I’m there. Tekeraoi
