Hellbenders for sure! Although I haven’t heard the Deatbuckers, yet.
Thanks for playing non metal on this pick up. Much appreciated
Hellbenders
A majority of rowin tone stacks need improvement. Amp Sim which are popular at the moment. For the money it's ok. But that guitar is lush ❤
I want that Jazzmaster. That's my dream guitar. One pick up and reverse headstock with matching paint. Can it come in flame maple ❤
I Love this pedal! I’m actually going to buy a second one incase mine ever goes out.
Good Review!!
Thanks for the review!
Great review
hello from japan iam musician.😊 how is quality of dunable feeling? i wish to purchase guitars dunable as they got for my tastes perfect beauty!! i think for play music heavy rock and punk style it will be well suited😅
Hello. This Dunable yeti is the best guitar I own. Baphomet pickups 19k very high output, great for music like Mastodon
How about tube screamer? Do y'all put it in front or fx loop?
thats a good question and a good video idea!
Suhr Riot clone
This video has no value of information.
What you didn't explain is that our hearing, apparently, is logarithmic, not linear...in that you can think of our brains as amplifiers so that we hear half volume as higher than that. Hence, the justification for log pots.
All their pedals do…. Its a things with their pedals in my experience….
Some great advice on tuning pedals. Thank you, sir!
Hi I just saw this. Love the Tim Conway Jr. show. Sometimes transistors can pick up radio signals.
Pretty nice
Try the mids 12-3 o'clock. You left them cut for the entire vid except for when you maxed the EQ in jest. The mids are the most important part of the EQ w/ guitars
I’m slowly figuring it out now. :)
What would happen if I used it with a mic
I was expecting to see the same guitar notes on different cables
The lace pick ups will match the aesthetic best, in my opinion. I can’t speak on the sound.
Excellent demo! I agree with you, in that it sounded best in the Effects Loop. I have a Diezel VH4-2 distortion, and currently have my Boss GE-7 EQ AFTER the Diezel. To me, it sounds better than having the EQ BEFORE the Diezel. In both of these examples, the pedals are going to the front of the amp. Just like you, a friend mentioned that the EQ sounds best in the effects loop. I'm gonna try this and see what kind of results I get. Btw, currently playing through a Marshall DSL 40CR amp. I do have a Mesa Boogie Mark V 35 on order and should receive it soon. It'll also be really interesting to compare the Mesa Boogie to the Marshall. Thanks again for posting!
How does it sound?
They “sound” the same. It just delivers the tone or volume at different levels depending on where it’s turned
They will both sound the same at 100%
I am trying to get my fuzz to do this on purpose so I can run fuzz in parallel with my doom setup and use a transmitter to send some demonic voices so they play randomly behind the fuzz. hoping it sounds more mystical and random like accidentally communicating to the demon realm through the guitar than if I just played an audio loop behind things.
I just removed one from a 70s telecaster. It cleaned up very well, but the lateral roller saddles do not roll. A soak in alcohol did no good. Penetrating oil did no good.
I’d go with deathbuckers personally but you do what you want
How do you think it'll go on a bass??
Thanks for the info, just bought a boss GE-7, cant wait to try it out :D
Need to tune up with the guitar in the playing position. It will be different laying flat.
Promo'SM 🙄
Thanks!
anything but first. The DHK is terrible when eq before. mediocre except in the effects loop. dezel is decent all by itself. The DHK on its own may be good for something not meteal as it seems to be very mid low mid heavey. The eq in the effects loop puts them on the same playing field. if you want the personality of each. and a reasonable compromise. last in input chain.
Will this fit my strat?
I thought it was kinda cool
Contradicting yourself I think it’s too sloppy
Great video, but just wondering if you’d know what to do if the gold was coming off a pickup and I wanted to add it back? Thanks😀
Electroplating would be your best option. Expensive, though. Just buy a new pickup cover. They're cheap enough
I feel like sample 3 is the best out of all the samples
Greay video
Alumitones are so underrated. I don't necessarily think the increased price is justified, and their customer service is awful, but they're technically superior to any other pickup at the moment. They pick up a broader frequency range and do so at a much flatter response, so you can do your tone shaping elsewhere. Which in the age of kempers, quad cortex, etc, is exactly what one would want. People expected them to sound as coloured as ye olde humbucke, but didn't do any tone shaping with alumitones. Well yeah, if you don't shape your tone and your base pickup is very clean and sober, then you're not gonna get your voicing! Duh!
Do they not mark them A and B? B for linear?
yeah, the pots are marked either A or B
i usually put it before but i saw now better tone when you put after the distorsion i will try tommorow or in the loop maybe as loop sounds top thanks man
I got 2 sets. Put into ibanez gio. I know a gio. Anyways. Sounded like shit. No real good crunch. Maybe phazed out. Idk. Just no tone. Is it pick ups. Or componets. 500 pots
😂 now you have sold me never to ever buy a metal guitar!
well once I figure it out hopefully nobody will have the same issue
It seems like you've reversed the ground and the positive somewhere in your wiring.
What pickups are in that beautiful guitar? That sound great. Even with that setup. Like a mean slushy lol.
Buy a different guitar. - Follow me for more guitar insight
Haha
Shielding for sure. Make sure if you use copper tape. To over lap the pieces. An have enough around the edge to cover the screw holes. As well cover the whole back of the pick guard. It will create a faraday cage. I have the same pickups. And did that with my guitar. As I got a an aluminum pick guard. And the ground issue was gone. Titanium screws are not a bad idea as well. I have titanium saddles. An do think it helps with the hum canceling as well. Oh and a little foam under each pickup. So it not metal touching metal. Also helps with feedback and microphonics. I know the pickups are really well wax potted. But being a metal body. It will help a lot. With them acting like a speaker. But that is kind of cool sounding. Would make some reverb and delays sound super spacey. 😅 What I would personally do. Take the guitar apart. Copper tape everything that can’t be seen from once the guitar is back together. Not the neck pocket. But jack output the under side of the jack plate, the body cavity under the pick guard, the under side of the pick guard. And the string bridge under plate and cavity. Making sure the tape covers all screw holes. And then foam under the pickups. Just something soft. Does not need to be special guitar humbucker foam or anything like that. I cut up an old foam pillow once and have been using it in all my guitars for a few years now. lol. It’s one way to get a new pillow. That guitar is killer. Can’t wait to hear it in action. You are going to love those pickups. They do it all. Add a series to parallel switch. And those things become p-90 sounds from hell. Or to. If you use the hellbender name. Haha
Thank you dude. I’ll try all this 🤘🏼
@@timguitar862 good luck man. Tinkering I find is 71% of the fun of guitar. As I have gotten older and learn more. Oh and inch to inch and a half wide copper tape is a lot easier to work with. Just go slow. You got this man. Now it’s down to the little last details. Then she will be rocking and rolling. Can’t wait for the video.
use non metal screws insulate the aluminum inside to not tranamit to pickups
Thank you I’ll give that a tryv
Trash the trash and get a wooden guitar. Yw. Be well friend!
Haha, what fun would that be
