Nice video! Great sounds! I love that dimebuckwr sound a lot. Btw, what do you use as your middle pickup?😊
Did you ever get a solution to this? I had two pedals that did this.....and they were both JHS and one of them being the 3 series

Awesome review
My bass pedalboard started picking up radio too. It’s only a boss tuner, boss eq, a direct box and a compressor. It’s strange because it took years for it to start up doing it.
I couldn't hear any difference at all with the low mid
Another important thing to take from this video is that huge difference in the values of the two pots. One pot had almost 20% more resistance than the other. That's probably enough to make an audible difference in the circuit. If somebody swapped those out thinking "500k is 500k" they might end up saying the taper changed the tone, when it was really the value of the pot.
I agree, plus the one POT was over the rated 500K which may be the + or - 10 % ?
*I just want something with enough solid-state grind to "toughen" up the distortion on my valve heads.* I'm literally an electronics engineer and can design and build equipment well beyond what is sold commercially including from boutiques, *but I scored this for $21 including shipping!* I'll get busy in the lab and ideally, the day will come in another year where my amps, pedals and other equipment is being sold commercially.
This was my favorite of the "International" Meadowhawks!
Sounds like muddy crap wherever you put it bro.

Damn finally a plain and simple explanation and demo of sound. EXCELLENT video straight to the point no xtra bullshit 😂😂. I like it at the end of distortion that’s the sound I like 👍
For this demo, when you had EQ in FX loop, did you put the eq in front, or behind, the modulation pedals?
I also have the VH4 pedal so this tripped me for a second lol just got an eq and ran it thru the fx loop and was wondering about the chain. Sounds massive tho.
I actually have this problem right now where I bought a used guitar with a gold pickup and I hate it but don’t want to spend more money so thank you
I just bought one for $20 CAD. Loving it! Just bought a ts9 and a super badass. Playing out of a Peavy Studio Pro 112. Ar300 ibanez.
It is really a secret weapon that most guitar players don’t are aware of. I use 2 EQ pedals; the Boss GE7 7 band as input for my guitar, doing so you can tweak the tonal characteristics of the guitar which you’re playing(boost or cut some frequencies or just boost the level slider to make the PU’s more active sounding). In the FX loop I use the 10 band MXR to finetune the amp and cab. It is really THE Swiss pocket knife for my(or any) setup.
What if the treble was turned down to remove the "unbearable" hiss? Oh well.
Well done.
I was getting more note articulation with it after the overdrives for my ears
Deathbuckers all the way
Do you add gain from the slider when you put it in the loop?
@@seandouglas8655 no
Both. Get rid of the flubby bottom end and the high-end hiss before it even gets into the amp, then tweak to suit in the loop post-amp. Vacate the spaces for what should be there - bass in the bottom end and cymbals in the high-end. Proper separation 👍
Love this dude. I have something I would love you to try!

Thanks
I wish he would turn that damned fuzz box off!
cool, you should write a song with it
Hellbenders for sure! Although I haven’t heard the Deatbuckers, yet.
Thanks for playing non metal on this pick up. Much appreciated
Hellbenders
A majority of rowin tone stacks need improvement. Amp Sim which are popular at the moment. For the money it's ok. But that guitar is lush ❤
I want that Jazzmaster. That's my dream guitar. One pick up and reverse headstock with matching paint. Can it come in flame maple ❤
I Love this pedal! I’m actually going to buy a second one incase mine ever goes out.
Thanks for the review!
hello from japan iam musician.😊 how is quality of dunable feeling? i wish to purchase guitars dunable as they got for my tastes perfect beauty!! i think for play music heavy rock and punk style it will be well suited😅
Hello. This Dunable yeti is the best guitar I own. Baphomet pickups 19k very high output, great for music like Mastodon
How about tube screamer? Do y'all put it in front or fx loop?
thats a good question and a good video idea!
I see most people put it up front with distortion. That's what I do, but to each his own own.
Suhr Riot clone
This video has no value of information.
What you didn't explain is that our hearing, apparently, is logarithmic, not linear...in that you can think of our brains as amplifiers so that we hear half volume as higher than that. Hence, the justification for log pots.
All their pedals do…. Its a things with their pedals in my experience….
Some great advice on tuning pedals. Thank you, sir!
Hi I just saw this. Love the Tim Conway Jr. show. Sometimes transistors can pick up radio signals.
Pretty nice
Try the mids 12-3 o'clock. You left them cut for the entire vid except for when you maxed the EQ in jest. The mids are the most important part of the EQ w/ guitars
I’m slowly figuring it out now. :)
What would happen if I used it with a mic
I was expecting to see the same guitar notes on different cables
The lace pick ups will match the aesthetic best, in my opinion. I can’t speak on the sound.
Excellent demo! I agree with you, in that it sounded best in the Effects Loop. I have a Diezel VH4-2 distortion, and currently have my Boss GE-7 EQ AFTER the Diezel. To me, it sounds better than having the EQ BEFORE the Diezel. In both of these examples, the pedals are going to the front of the amp. Just like you, a friend mentioned that the EQ sounds best in the effects loop. I'm gonna try this and see what kind of results I get. Btw, currently playing through a Marshall DSL 40CR amp. I do have a Mesa Boogie Mark V 35 on order and should receive it soon. It'll also be really interesting to compare the Mesa Boogie to the Marshall. Thanks again for posting!
How does it sound?
They “sound” the same. It just delivers the tone or volume at different levels depending on where it’s turned
They will both sound the same at 100%
I am trying to get my fuzz to do this on purpose so I can run fuzz in parallel with my doom setup and use a transmitter to send some demonic voices so they play randomly behind the fuzz. hoping it sounds more mystical and random like accidentally communicating to the demon realm through the guitar than if I just played an audio loop behind things.
I just removed one from a 70s telecaster. It cleaned up very well, but the lateral roller saddles do not roll. A soak in alcohol did no good. Penetrating oil did no good.
