What makes it "drugstore" after so much time i still done understand why it's called drug store makeup 🤔🤔🤔

A sponge absorbs foundation so is only good for removing excess makeup if it's too cakey, fingertips and a brush is better to use as it doesn't absorb the foundation so adds coverage but if you want a very light coverage then best to use a sponge :)

Great review. I have oily combo, acne-prone skin. I also wear the color ST6 - ILIA Super Serum Skin Tint SPF 40. In my experience, I found this serum also works best after you have exfoliated your skin overnight with chemical actives i.e.: retinol, glycolic acids, lactic acids, etc. because the acids exfoliate the dead skin cells, that is the top layer of your skin overnight, the next day your skin is raw and as for the next day the ILIA Serum Skin Tint will penetrate the skin much better. The ingredients in the ILIA serum also help with hydration to which the skin lost overnight. So in essence it helps the skin repairs itself by locking in moisture. ILIA's intention is catered to skincare - So there is the balance. Also, I've found clean products mix well with other clean products, over store drug brands. ILIA's formulation and color spectrum are in a league of their own, so it will likely not play well with other makeup or pharmacy brands. As you know, ILIA is super dewy, I prefer suncare in satin or matte finish, so I will use tinted sunscreens rather than a foundation, my makeup routine is to layer the ILIA Serum Skin Tint UNDER the MyChelle Sunshield Liquid SPF 50 (color: Light, $24 for 1oz.), the MyChelle is also a clean product, tinted sunscreen, that has zero skincare ingredients and is super drying and matte - and it knocks off that ILIA crazy shine. I then apply the ILIA concealer in SC2 Yucca and powder to set my face with ILIA Soft Focus Finishing Powder <---- I've always disliked loose powders, however, this ILIA powder is everything ....it has Aloe: Keeps skin feeling soft and supple - Bamboo: Helps to balance oil and leave skin’s surface shine-free - Rosemary Leaf: Soothes irritation. omg, THE finest milled finishing powder evarrrr, no white cast, it blurs my large pores, and skin does not feel tight nor cakey, it is beautiful -- again there is the balance! -- everything set in my face for about 8+hrs, so one could say I wear tinted serum that treats and conditions my skin, under tinted sunscreen also protects from the sun - simply amazing! I hope this information helps.

I’ve been wanting to try NYX specifically that’s utopia palette. I just know I love my Indy and high end/luxury and that’s why I’ve been kind of hesitant but I’ve heard good things about the Nyx shadows what would you compare the formula to if you had to compare. I recently placed an order on Ulta and grabbed an la girl 9 pan palette Because people seem to love that formula as well and I only paid 6.99 for it so what the hell I’ll give it a try. I’m not a big Morphe eyeshadow fan either but I do like the Like the Jaclyn hill volume two but I also like the 39s and the boss mood. The other ones I’ve given to my sisters
