Hi My name is Bryce Tubbs
Since 2014 I have been running a 6 figure accounting and bookkeeping firm that I co-founded with my local business partner. My main job in my accounting firm is to create sales and marketing opportunities, so we can keep expanding towards the 7 figure level.
Also, I decided to start giving back and showing other Accountants and Bookkeepers how to start, grow, and scale their businesses. In the form of mentoring/coaching programs. Because when I first started there was no one to really show me and my partner how to get started, and show us how to get clients so we could afford to stay in business. We launched it 2 times before we were able to get the business off the ground.
It was rough, to say the least, but this journey has given me the perspective to help guide others, and I have shown a fair amount of others how to get their business off the ground, and I would love to personally show you how to do the same.

What is your percentage of LinkedIn connection requests that are accepted? I'm finding that I only get 1-5% accepted out of 100 per day (but I'm not able to send out 100 every day due to LinkedIn limitations).

Ill be honest, I've seen a few of your videos, you have alot of good info and perspective! You could really improve in your conciseness, maybe being more visual, and definitely your microphone lol
@chairwithoutwheels9148 thank you for the feedback. When you say more visual what do you mean exactly (or could you provide and example)?
I guess to me its a bit dull to stare at the same screen of words on a document with a webcam in the corner. Like the part where you went into canva to show what you were talking about, i liked that! I know some people just listen to videos, but i like to watch them. I also watch other bookkeepers on youtube, like Finepoints, who only periodically shows what she means in the computer, and mostly uses graphics on screens to show breaks in video sections. Alot of this also comes down to conciseness though. This video def feels like it couldve been 10 minutes. I'd recommend writing out a script for the video, as if it's an essay with a word limit, it would help with tangents and such. Like i said though, good info! Always room for improvement though
Also editing, cutting out parts where you take long pauses or notice you go on a tangent when in post

Thanks Bryce. I've watched a LOT of your videos and this is one of the best ones because you share the approximate percentages which is really helpful. I know that this is something that I will have to work on before doing consultation calls (as someone who is naturally talkative). I think that knowing the numbers help to have the right expectations.

This is an encouraging video. I've been doing bookkeeping for 10 years now for a company and now want to start a business doing it for small companies. My only reservation is the possibility of AI eliminating the need for bookkeepers in the near future. What do you think about this possibility? PS.. nice guitar collection hanging on your wall.
@psm0815 your job will try to replace you with AI well before your clients do. Most business owners don't remember their Gmail password. Also, by starting your business you are spreading your risk and making your income more safe. Right now if your job fires you your active income goes down to 0 (not including your investments). If you lose a client in your business it's just one of you income streams (unless you only have one client lol)
